I struggle with the term lost. I strongly believe they, lead by Ryan, intentionally let the democrats win in order to stop Trump. Lost infers they tried to win and didn't.
I wish I could disagree with that....but I really can’t.
Exactly - we were stabbed in the back by those who were supposed to be on our side, resist the Dems and back the guy from OUR party whom WE elected to be POTUS.
But we were naive if we thought that the vast majority of these people represented anyone but themselves, especially those near the top of the power pyramid. I sincerely hope that Paul Ryan is judged on this Earth for what he did to this nation; but for his actions in destroying the Republican majority in the House, there would have been no impeachment sham AND Trump would have accomplished far more than he did (yeah, I know that’s hard to imagine, he’s done so much, but that’s his nature). I despise Paul Ryan with every fiber of my existence...because he traitorously and selfishly undercut the last person standing in the way of a Deep State takeover of this country.
