He will be next too maybe not this time but next term.
His one strength IMO is that he is very articulate and comes off well in interviews. His war service and the eyepatch give him a sort of dashing macho glamour. But he is all style and no substance. I could see a future RINO ticket of Crenshaw and Nikki Haley. That would be a RINO wet dream.

Dan Crenshaw, at this point it’s not about who wins this election.
It’s about our elections—if there are no free and fair elections, there is no country.

Perhaps I am wrong. I have honestly not paid much attention to him, but he has said some good stuff in the few media appearances I have seen for him.
My impression of him, albeit without scrutiny, was that he was generally solid.
There is only one Trump. There is a handful of spitfires like Nunes and Jordan. After that it goes downhill quick in the GOP.
Dan Crenshaw will soon be an ex-Congressman.
Take a look at the Chamber of commerce toad losers in GOP House leadership. Crenshaw fits right in.
