Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has been a very vocal and active part of the 2020 Election process. Just this week, he helped contribute more than $27 million to ensure that felons would be able to vote.

On Tuesday, James spoke out once more – this time in response to a viral election-related video.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has been a very vocal and active part of the 2020 Election process. Just this week, he helped contribute more than $27 million to ensure that felons would be able to vote.
On Tuesday, James spoke out once more – this time in response to what he perceives to be shoddy election site practices. The four-time NBA champion retweeted a video of a woman allegedly being “denied her right to vote despite arriving on time [and] waiting on line.”

James publicly endorsed Joe Biden for president some weeks back, which wasn’t much of a shock given the repeated issues he and President Donald Trump have had. Their feud was on full display this past Monday, when President Trump mocked both James and the NBA at one of his rallies. The crowd subsequently started to chant “LeBron James sucks,” which President Trump seemed to enjoy.

“How about basketball?” President Trump said. “How about Lebron? I felt badly for LeBron. I felt very badly. Down 71% and that’s for their championship — I didn’t watch one shot. Several weeks ago, James was asked about his ongoing beef with the President of the United States.

“I don’t go back and forth with anybody,” James noted. “And I damn sure won’t go back and forth with that guy. “But we want better, we want change in our community. We always talk about, ‘We want change,’ and now we have the opportunity to do that.”

Before that, President Trump referred to James as a “hater.”

“He’s a great basketball player, but people don’t want to see a guy that’s that way,” he said. “They don’t want to see that. … He’s a hater.”

President Trump also claimed that James and his cohorts in the NBA were the reason for the league’s declining TV ratings.

“You don’t want to sit down, watch a basketball game, and then watch somebody that hates your guts, okay.”

Of course, James didn’t seem too shaken up by the prospect of President Trump and his supporters no longer watching the NBA.

“You trying to make me laugh right now?” James asked. “I appreciate that. I really don’t think the basketball community are sad about losing his viewership, him viewing the game. And that’s all I got to say.”

One way or another, a new chapter in the ongoing rivalry between James and President Trump will be written this week. Either the latter will lose to Vice President Biden and James’ efforts will be an important reason why, or he will win and all of the Lakers star’s work will be for naught. An answer should come within the next 24 to 72 hours.

Prior to Trump, we went 8 years with a black president that did nothing for his community. Where were you then Labrat. Where was your change? And if you want change, do something besides complain about it. Get people that can do things to help the issue together rather than college grads that didn’t attend their classes just bitching about it and do violence for a living for more money than a large majority of black people living in the US will ever see. This type of action is nothing other than just a way to deflect blame and not have to take responsibility for your own faults OR life? And that makes you a coward.
