What we will see after the election is widespread riots and violence with the intention of starting a crackdown. This then brings ‘normies’ out to the streets to protest. It devolves from there.
The CCP is likely behind this attack. Easier than conquering a country militarily is to use its own freedoms against it to encourage a civil war. Basically, national suicide. As BLM and Antifa rip down statutes - including Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln - how can you argue this plan isn’t working?

Well I didn’t know “Root” was a first name, but it does seem like infamous people are almost always referred to by their first, middle, and last name.
