Notable pollsters are cautioning Americans to refrain from getting too comfortable with polling predictions as Election Day approaches, suggesting polls may not account for “shy” or “hidden” Trump voters– those who are largely responsible for President Trump’s upset victory four years ago. In this election, the magnitude of such voters could be even greater.
All eyes are on key swing states, such as Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Florida, North Carolina, Arizona, and even Minnesota as Election Day swiftly approaches. Over the weeks, Breitbart News has spoken to dozens of Trump supporters across those states, Florida and Wisconsin, particularly, who also expressed the belief that the silent majority will show up in a greater volume than in 2016.
“We have everything, and I said, well, after hearing that they were going to pack the court, I finally said I’m putting my Trump flag up,” Bryce, a Wisconsin resident, recently told Breitbart News.
“Wouldn’t you know? Dozens in my neighborhood went up. The lesbian couple across the street — they’re very nice people; we love them — I didn’t think they’d ever put one up. They’ve got a Trump flag. There’s a lot of support that is sleeper support,” he continued.
“It’s like you gotta just ‘shh’ — just be cool,” he said. “Show up to the polls and vote, you know.”
“It’s like it’s a secret but when you meet somebody else in the secret society that supports Trump — because you can’t do it publicly or people will rip you. You know,” Bryce added when asked if there is a bigger and stronger silent majority from 2016:

I’ll take it.
I will not be shocked because I am a “shy” Trump voter. Registered Indy and and I assume optimistic dems are counting indys as on their team.
Our Great President Donald J. Trump, savior of our Republic, will win with north of 350 EVs.
It will be disingenuous when the media expresses SHOCK at a Trump win.
I happen to believe that this is solid. I expect a landslide.
But I understand the polls (to some extent) tell a different story, and Fraud is always a factor.
If Biden wins, I will be upset but not shocked.
If Trump wins, the media will be upset and SHOCKED. But they will be lying when they say they are shocked.
All possibilities are on the table, and honest people recognize this.

In my area, having a Trump sign means threat of violence, vandalism of your property, cancel culture, and possible threat of harassments at work.

I read here a few days ago that 20 years ago and before, polling outfits would call landlines and get roughly a 50% response rate. Now with Caller ID and cell phones ubiquitous, they only get about a 2% response rate. So they are starting off with inherent bias in the polling - they are only getting answers from people who want to talk to pollsters. Who knows what kind of people want to do that? That alone injects so much bias and is in no way a true random sampling. Their so-called “margin of error” is a complete fiction.
Worse still, many of these polls take 30 minutes or more to complete - usually 29 minutes of leading questions about the economy, the virus, etc before they get to the question of “who ya gonna vote for”? It takes a certain kind of person willing to answer 30 minutes of questions from a random outfit. Again, not representative of the population on whole. And the national polls, fuggetaboutit! Those polls often oversample states that are pretty much a lock for one or the other candidate anyway and it is irrelevant. The EC is decided by state not by national vote.

That’s a heck of a call. Not entirely impossible given the 100,000s of people who have fled the city over the past months. But still seems unlikely.
One man explained he’d rather avoid a fight than have to shoot somebody. These Biden people are violent.
I agree on all points — especially your last one.
I do expect Trump to win in a landslide. Heck, I think we have a chance to win back the House. And I’m very sure the media is all set to yell “Cheating! Russia! Collusion!” and also “Did you see the polls? No way he could have won! This whole second term is even more illegitimate than the first one!”
My wife got a call from what sounded like a pollster last week. She said I don’t talk to strangers and hung up.
Not sure the outcome, but there are a lot of people from the “locked” groups who are pro Trump, and a lot of normally pro GOP groups who are pro Biden.
