Because the NBA has done so well financially in recent years, the money has typically always gone back to the players. This year is different, though. As a result of how poorly things have gone for the league, there is talk of a 40 percent escrow.

Their agents/managers had to tell the players that could happen. Were they arrogant or just stupid? Probably both.

bet this in part explains why the nba has said the social justice mess will not be as public and in your face as it was this year.
of course next year isn't an election year either.

NFL and NBA exist because taxpayers fund the arenas and stadiums.
Cut out the corporate welfare and the fan base theyve alienated and theyll be filing bankruptcy. College football is the next thing theyll destroy.

I am not an NBA fan so I don't know who Curry is.
But if he stands to lose $20 million this next two years, then I do not have any sympathy for him. He makes enough to get by on and that's all most folks have, is enough to get by on.
Cry me some crocodile tears for folks who really don't have anything, not some rich guy who might lose a big chunk of change.
Boo, hoo, hoo.

I guess the owners weren’t as stupid as I thought when they were agreeing to those huge contracts. Still stupid, but not as stupid.

They can all move to China.

Until NBA reject the BLM movement, I would estimate that they would lose at least 50% of their revenue. Just think of all those tickets, luxury boxes, concessions that fans will no longer buy.
