Where I work, political discussions, buttons, slogans on clothing are prohibited. We are there to work. I occasionally will talk about politics, if asked, but I keep it to a minimum, and cut it off very quickly. (I am a manager). Certainly most businesses would not allow their employees to make political statements to their customers. Yet, somehow, NBA and NFL contend that this is a “free speech” issue. Well, this “free speech” is destroying someone’s business.
