Having spent most of my life in this area it is heart breaking to see this scam being played out in enormous fashion as the largest gathering in America.

I have begun the process of removing my family from businesses, organizations and sports teams who have adopted Covid policies stricter than those required by law. We have happily found alternatives, one of them run by a veteran who doesn’t care about mask rules.

I am sick of the “stay safe” crowd. I don’t tell anyone to “stay safe”. Seems better if people said “risk it” instead of “stay safe”.

OMG, I bet I ran into that same skank at Walmart last spring.
She said “*I* have asthma and I wear a mask”.
And then the convo abruptly ended because I bolted into the store and snagged the manager before the goons could catch me.
Nether he or I wore a mask and went on shopping.
The sheep in line behind us were all gaping.
Pity it didn’t cause a spontaneous rebellion.

This one had a long list of ailments...I damn near fell asleep on my feet listening to her yap at my wife...I came THIS close to asking her if she was a bitter lesbian. THIS close.
When we were done, we passed by her heading out the door with our loaded cart. We both smiled politely. You know...that polite 'FU' smile. :-)

Well, they couldn’t scare the public with The Coming Ice Age, World Population Explosion, “The Silent Spring” or the latest: “Global Warming’, but by God they hit the jackpot with this virus. And you can bet they will play this string out as long as possible.
Was in a local WalMart and Smiths this past week, playing the usual game until past the mask monitor - make believe I’m putting it on until past them, then put it on my chin. Seems to placate the Karens of both sexes as I have yet to be challenged.
What really disgusts me is to see the TOTAL compliance - mask over nose and in some cases, shields.
I’m an Old Fud and was sitting at the edge of one of the checkout lines when a masked employee came up and asked if I was all right. (Jesu, do I look THAT bad?).
I gave her my standard “The virus has been out for seven months now and if you haven’t caught it by now, you’re not going to get it.”
She agreed and mentioned she got headaches from wearing the mask while working, “But after a while, you get used to it.” (!!!) No lady, DON’T get used to it. I am really discouraged at seeing how the majority of the public have become sheep.

Dear God. That's absolutely awful. How do you keep from going berserk?
If Pres. Trump doesn't do something about such insanity -- whether by direct executive action, or just by putting behind-the-scenes pressure on the various governors -- I think the ugliness level of this whole situation is going to explode.
My male Dobe loves his [now deflated] basketballs he has scattered all over the back yard, so yeah, ball money is good, too.
