I think CNN or NY Times owned till 2015. Oddly it morphed into doing sports and politics side by side so ESPN bought the site and they are owned by Disney.

A site run by leftist Nate Silver that the media likes to hold out as some amazing source because he accurately predicted the 2012 presidential race for every state. But it is just another left wing propaganda site. They said Trump had a minimal chance of winning in 2016 and are giving him a minimal one now as well.
Guarantee Disney has better data scientists and statisticians than 538. I don’t see 538 adding anything to Disney’s portfolio.....or any other organization. I find them unreliable and too biased to trust their methods.
