On Oct. 16, Chinese Communist Party leader Xi Jinping presided over a Politburo study session on the development of quantum science and technology, according to state media reports.
State media Xinhua reported on Xis remarks during the study session.
Xue Qikun, an academician with the Chinese Academy of Sciences and vice president of Tsinghua University, lectured on quantum science and technology at the session and put forward opinions and suggestions on the issue, Xinhua reported.
Xues opinions or suggestions were not explained in the report, but Xinhua made sure to include Xis comments. He said the Chinese regime should make good first moves in the development of quantum science and technology.
Again, nothing concrete about quantum science and technology was mentioned in Xis talk. From the Party chairman, to the Politburo members and state media, no one knows seems to be able to explain quantum.
In fact, quantum technology is still in the basic stages of research. It is an emerging field of physics and engineering that relies on the principles of quantum physics.
Several major U.S. companies are leading the way in quantum computing and have the most commercial prospects.
Lacking the ability to catch up, the CCP ran out of choices but picked the relatively simple quantum communication to develop. On Sept. 29, 2017, the Chinese regimes mouthpiece Xinhua highly praised the official opening of the Beijing-Shanghai Linka quantum secured communication fiber-optic link connecting Beijing and Shanghai.
No one knows how many people are using it and what the actual effect is. This suggests that applications of quantum tech have not yet reached their maturity.
The CCP claims that China is the leader in quantum communication research. But Japan is the one currently making the most advanced breakthroughs in quantum cryptography.

Lol. Quantum physicists don’t understand quantum physics. Much less a buncha ChiComm Party hacks.
Yes, so is Justin Bieber, er... Trudeau.
Don’t insult the Bieb. At least he’s competent in his area of expertise.
Im reminded of the time I made a pitch to some bosses, and the senior of them told me afterward, I dont know if youre right, but I asked all the questions I could think of every way I could - and you always had a confident answer."
RE: Dont insult the Bieb. At least hes competent in his area of expertise.
I don’t know him that much. What’s his area of expertise Other than singing?
That’s his area of expertise and he’s not bad at it.
He also has a talent for learning instruments without formal lessons. He can play the drums, guitar, trumpet and piano at a decent level.
If Quantum Physics ever starts to make sense to you, then you don’t really understand it.
Quantum physics is a mathematicians’ employment program with little correlation to reality. Go for it, commies.
I am a Bieleber and am also an original Neil Diamond fan.
CKLW is where I first heard Neil Diamond when he was unknown in the U.S.
I like Neil Diamond. I’m not a Belieber, but I do recognize that you’re not going to sell enough records to be worth almost $300 million unless you have talent.
