Noticed a couple days ago that my FR profile had been deleted.
My erudition is especially despised by some here in election years.
It wouldn’t be FreeRepublic if it doesn’t crash.
Crashes will be common, fueled by endless vanities and clickbait blogs.
I’m sure they can handle it.................
Two things will help a lot (and this isn’t a slam at you) - first, a moratorium on vanities, and second, a little restraint on posting monster graphics. Those two things save a lot of bandwidth. It’s really difficult to try to right-size a system both for maximum surge and to stay within a reasonable budget. (I speak from experience here.) If all FR does is slow down and not crash, that’s a win.
FR will be fine. I wonder if the DUmp’s owner will shut down his site, like in 2016 when Trump’s victory was assured? (They were down for a few days iirc.) I guess he didn’t want anyone to see the anguish his little rat DUmmie toads were going to post about.
Is it even going to be a big night? What will be counted? What won’t be counted?

But with some states letting people mail the ballots late ???
