Ohio State coach Ryan Day apologized to Nebraska for the Buckeyes offense not taking a knee in the final seconds of Saturday's 52-17 win at Ohio Stadium.
Leading 45-17 in the final minute, the Buckeyes reached the Nebraska 2-yard line. Rather than take a knee, freshman quarterback Jack Miller ran into the end zone.

That at first this was a BLM thing. No, not that kind of knee.
Yeah, a little sports-lingo explanation would have been helpful here. I read the article and still didnt know what the hell they were talking about.

Me too. It looked like the headline was about the National Anthem.
For once I read the article.
I wonder what that decision did to the gamblers out there.
Regards,
It’s Scott Frost’s job to stop him. He’s getting paid millions of dollars a year to do that.
It’s some sort of unwritten rule in college football not to “humiliate” the losing team by “running up the score”. Election night will be different. Trump doesn’t apologize for winning.

I’m so sorry I kicked your ass.
What a pussy.
I wonder if Nebraska is thinking it might have been a mistake for joining the big ten.
That conference has a history of beating the living hell out of each other during the season and then going to bowl games and falling flat.
No one is talking about Clemson 73-7 beat down of GA Tech
Participation trophies for all!
“Its Scott Frosts job to stop him. Hes getting paid millions of dollars a year to do that.”
Exactly!
“I wonder if Nebraska is thinking it might have been a mistake for joining the Big Ten.”
I’d rather have then in the Big 10 than Rutgers, Penn State or Maryland.
Call me old fashioned but I’d rather maintain a geographical continuity to a football conference. But the Big 10 commissioners saw $$$ when they saw they could make inroads in the NYC and DC markets by inviting Maryland and Rutgers.
After all those years when Nebraska ran up 60-something scores against weak opponents, NOBODY has to apologize for their getting it back in their face.
That is soooo last week.
But I agree-college football has become commercialized.
Geological or geographical?
For example, I believe Ohio State is the only team to be national champion in the past 15 or so years without being in the southeast. All other national champions were either SEC teams or ACC teams in the south (Clemson and Florida State). Doesnt the rest of the country take football seriously?
No apologiesplay football until the clock runs out.
The same Georgia Tech that once defeated Cumberland College 222-0? That Georgia Tech?
