'The Grinch Who Stole Christmas' hints at it when the Grinch realizes that Christmas isn't about presents and decorations. “Maybe Christmas,” he thought, “doesn’t come from a store. Maybe Christmas … perhaps … means a little bit more!”

But nothing can top actually reading right out of the Gospel.
