RED BLUFF, Calif. — A Red Bluff man is facing charges for allegedly assaulting a Trump supporter at the post office.
Police say 26-year-old Daniel Gomez-Martinez assaulted the 77-year-old because he was wearing a Make America Great Again hat. The alleged attack happened Friday night at the Red Bluff Post Office.
Gomez-Martinez fled the scene, but responding officers were able to later find and arrest him. He faces charges of battery and elder abuse, according to Red Bluff Police.
The 77-year-old victim has not been identified by police.

That is a Conservative area, IIRC - meaning the DA won’t dismiss the charges, as is happening in other jurisdictions.
Hope the 77-year old has a good lawyer.
Every state should have a duty to prosecute politically motivated crimes like these..................
If this happens in conceal carry states, we could eliminate Biden votes because of self defense rules.

I’ve had way more thumbs up for my Trump sticker on my back window than the middle finger. All I can say is that if someone crosses my picket line they’re gonna be sorry. I’ve led a rough life and I’m not going to sit there and take a beating. Plus I always have a back up.

We “older” guys (I’ll be 70 on my next birthday), many of whom are veterans, may not have the physical strength we once had, and our reflexes aren’t quite as quick, but we can still shoot, and shoot well.
