With just days to go before the election, President Trump has a lot of things on his mind. And water pressure for toilets appears to be one of them.
In a lengthy digression during his rally in Carson City, Nev., on Sunday, Trump claimed that Americans have to “flush their toilet 15 times” due to restrictions on water usage.
“You know what really bothers me? When you go into a new hotel or new house, they have these faucets, and you turn them on and no water comes out,” the president said. He then launched into an eight-minute story about water flow and American appliances that included its own aside about his support among women and the 2016 electoral map.

Environmentalists know nothing about the environment.
One time, I wound up in Kiev. I flushed old Soviet toilet and it scared me to death. It went off like a Martin Baker rocket ejection seat, somewhere between 75 and 150 gallons went through that 3 inch hole in about 2.5 seconds. Water conservation was not their goal
I'd call it the
"Environmentally friendly" toilets don't flush things down like normal toilets do.
They are AWFUL to deal with!

As far as what he's doing about it, he just signed an order today that will divert more water to California farmers. Naturally, Governor Newsom filed a lawsuit to try to prevent it.

That’s why we saved an old Kilgore toilet for a renovation we were doing. These new ones may work will for those little European fellas, but it will just not handle a full-size American male load...no way, but that old Kilgore downs it like it was nothing. Of course, that Kilgore probably has a 5 gallon tank behind it...LOL.
I totally agree with him. Low-flush toilets are awful, and they clog up all the time!
And our required “energy-saving” dishwasher sucks!! Half of the time the dishes don’t come out clean, and the dry cycle doesn’t dry at all. Hate it!! I can’t wait to replace the stupid thing once the regulations are lifted.
Seriously, it takes a certain amount of water to keep the turds flowing to the sewage treatment plant.
We have our own septic system and to keep the little bugs in the septic tanks happy, they need water. So we flush at least twice to keep it moving and to keep the tank watery.

same here, i triple flush so the pipe to the tank doesn’t clog

They take every word of his absolutely literally and then trash him for it. I heard it. It’s his style of speaking before large crowds. He’s right about having to flush several times. He criticized them for NOT being environmentally friendly.

Yep. I work in the water and wastewater industry. All water conservation devices are a bunch of leftist crap. My “water efficient“ washing machine takes about 3 hours worth of electricity and the clothes are so dry I’m not sure they really were washed!!! Meanwhile my sisters old agitator machine washes a huge load of clothes in 15 minutes. There is no water shortage in the DC area. I totally agree with Trump on this- we should be able to buy appliances and fixtures we want!!!! We don’t need cafe standards on toilets, faucets and washing machines. This is important. And he’s right!

There IS a water crisis. It’s been falling off the edge of the world for 20 billion years and it is going to run dry in the next 10 years if we don’t start rationing our use!
