Even Spartacus managed to show some dignity in that Senate proceeding. He even (apparently) read through ACB’s extensive written record as a judge before the hearing took place, instead of just ranting about her religious background.
There is no religious test in the US. The democrat party does support an anti religious test, though.
I don’t believe in any sort of ‘religious test’ - either pro or con - for confirmation to a national office.
But I have to admit that I’d much rather have a person of some - any! - genuine faith in principles higher than just those dictated by this mere material life and the temporal issues of the day, deciding important matters for all of us.

She was the Deputy Mayor, got a lot of TV time and sympathy in the aftermath of the crime, and she was picked by the CA Dems to go on to bigger and better things. She is a non-entity with (like the other harridan from SF who is the House Speaker at the moment) an uber-corrupt husband who has made hundreds of millions trading off her connections and votes on various laws.
The dead soul Feinstein dislike and distrust of religious people and churches IS WHY AMERICA IS DYING> There was a time when generals prayed to Almighty God before going into battles. Sleazy feinds like Feinstein spit at God Fearing Christians. Without God in America, in American edication and business, the taboo structure giving US an Identity dies, and evil people like Feinstein are fine with that.
