So a friend sent this video today after he inspected a rental house following the termination of a rental agreement for non payment. These were items left behind.
Back story is I painted the exterior over the summer. The tenants were Muslims. Very weird acting people when I interacted with them. You know, that gut feeling you have for some people.
No.
It is trash.
Throw it in the dumpster.
Is it A: make a video for absolute strangers online while mumbling about the stuff and fondling everything with your bare hands, obliterating anyone else's fingerprints/DNA and screw up a potential crime scene - or
B: Call the police with your suspicions and let professionals process the scene to assess it - and maybe defuze any potential devices they find?
Take your time before answering.
Unfortunately only 50% or less of the U.S. are truly believes in God. The DEMONRATS in this country are secularist. They would sell their souls in a second to the highest bidder. I.E. Hunter Biden and his father.
Can’t believe that you were so careless that you were touching everything and possibly covering up their fingerprints! Very sloppy.
Yes, I know too late now but when you have a possible crime scene following an eviction you want absolutely no room for them to claim you planted the stuff because RACISM or some such nonsense.
I have had to clean out after an eviction and while that is not the oddest collection of items I have seen it is up there.
Good move to call the police.
Those vests are suspicious.
So the electronic hobbyist employs the use of a protective vest for his hobby?
The vests seem interesting but walking around touching everything likely spoiled any evidence as far as a court case goes.
There are a total of 7 cars there now plus the bomb squad truck. The owners rep, my friend, said they told him more are on the way. Thats all the info I have at this time.
I agree dont touch anything. My friend touched plenty of items in that video unfortunately.
I’ve been in electronics for years. I saw the capacitors, too. kind of hard to make out some of the stuff. Soldering iron, with magnets and what looked like the guts of an electric motor.
Wires, soldering iron, electric motors..... vest.... Muslims.... Yep, I’m calling the FBI/SS/ATF/INS/DHS and my local police. Since the president is supposed to be coming to your town, I would call the Secret Service first.
You did the right thing.
It sure looks like a Bomb Construction area. Also looks like the perp may have been in the process of making bomb vest.
Call the Feds and let them make the decision.By the way,You shouldn’t have touched anything in a potential Crime scene.Espechially a Bomb lab or a potential Meth Lab.Meth labs are considered HazMat zones.Very dangerous to your health.
Agreed, it could be just a nerd.
Especially what with leaving so much behind that could possibly look suspicious.
OK; if you see obviously suspicious paraphernalia strewn around, possibly bomb-making materials, what’s your first step?

Not my video, not my rental. I immediately called my friend at Secret Service and the local police. My friend met them at the property. I then posted what I thought was a disturbing video for opinion while waiting to hear something from my friend in what the items at the property were.
You shouldn’t have handled any of it
If its really private then who posted comment there? One of us?
But you are the one making the video? Never occur to you that you were messing up evidence? Might even accidently detonate something?
Just another misunderstood kid making “clocks for the White House”.
Those strange new looking vests left behind are very suspicious. One can’t rule out some kind of booby-trapped explosive vest being manufactured with the magnets, wiring, pennies, and capacitors present. Calling the experts was the right thing to do, even if it proves to be nothing sinister.
