President Trump on Thursday refused to disavow QAnon during an NBC News town hall, saying he knows nothing about it beyond that supporters of the theory are “strongly against pedophilia.”
Trump was asked by host Savannah Guthrie to disavow the conspiracy theory, after she described it as a theory about Democrats being a satanic pedophile ring.
“I know nothing about QAnon. I know very little,” Trump said. “You told me but what you tell me doesn’t necessarily make it fact. I hate to say that.”
"I know nothing about it. I do know they are very much against pedophilia, they fight it very hard. But I know nothing about it,” Trump continued.
When Guthrie noted that Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) said QAnon is “nuts” and that “real leaders call conspiracy theories conspiracy theories,” Trump again said claimed to have no knowledge about the theory.
“He may be right. I just don’t know about QAnon,” Trump said.
“You do know,” Guthrie pressed.
“I don’t know,” Trump continued.
QAnon is a far-right conspiracy theory whose followers believe that an underground cabal of Satanic worshipers run child sex trafficking rings and are in control of the so-called “deep state” government and that Trump is working to expose them.

Short version for me reflects back to the so called education system here in the US
If is based on the Prussian model of I say and you repeat what I said, and that is called learning. Rote and repetition programs the mind into a way of thinking. As one who is Autistic that is like putting my hand in a fire as that is not how things are. I am also inherently averse to being told what to do versus getting instruction basically and then asking questions, the Socratic method
That is why QAnon works, they give you some puzzle pieces and hints and off you go on your own journey of discovery, and it may have some verbiage from MSM but on the way you see what is really happening
For yourself, they do not tell you what to think but give you “bread crumbs” to follow and the rest is a big adventure.
But You have found it and it is invariably NOT what the MSM is telling you

I add the implied caveat because: I recognized myself.
I have no mathematical ability (at all and that includes music and foreign languages), but I am an artist and a writer and patterns stand out for me. When patterns are inconsistent, I feel uncomfortable to the point of cognitive dissonance.This is when a pattern of speech is established, but it is at odds with emotional content or body language or other actions, such as cadence or pitch. These inconsistencies will stick obsessively in my memory for years, like a recording. Often, years later, I am able to resolve exactly what was going on at the previous time and the memory will then fade.
The MSM *montage effect* is something we all know because of Rush, even if we don’t watch the media.
I guess at 77 I may have always been an autist? I am certainly asocial and while my friends are wonderful, they have always been few.
My troll sense online is mostly connected to repetitious negativity.
I am extremely resistant to conditioning. Got me into a lot of trouble as a kid until I learned to fake it. As an older adult, I tend to express myself in text or images or by creating objects and avoid most conversations in favor of listening and observing.

Fun Fact: Guthrie is married to a Demonrat high operative, Michael Feldman, who worked for Bubba the Rapist and was a chief of staff to Manbearpig. Feldman was partly responsible for helping precipitate the 2000 Presidential Election crisis, convincing Gore to refuse to concede.

The start of my research. The internet and retirement has given me a lot more time to study, but there’s never enough time.
It is the “crap” that I see on the research part of QAnon that speaks to me an aligns with the many “Frolls” I see who have migrated here
