The Buddy Network. Nepotism. The Old School Tie. Whatever you call it, it destroys businesses and entire nations.

Competence not required.

In Texas, property taxes alone can exceed income tax and property taxes combined in other states.

Getting out of NY is like One Flew Over the Coocoo’s Nest, an imperative for any same person or business to achieve.

I would suggest Ft Worth over Dallas but either is 100 times saner and safer than NY!

Tampa, Miami, Orlando and Atlanta are four cities that could easily absorb the NASDAQ exchange and as to the IT infrastructure any of those cities could easily accommodate the NASDAQ the current transactions of including those for the NYSE take place in New Jersey and their standby sites can be activated in a matter of hours. The move if it would happen has far less to do with IT infrastructure than you might imagine

Move it somewhere more deserving than liberal Trump-hating Dallas.

Partner, FW will love to have the Nasdaq.

These DemonRat governors in the northeast part of U.S.A. do not see it but this is where they are going.

This is exactly what’s happening. NASDAQ has a DR (disaster recovery) site in DFW that they brought up into production to prove to dick-head Murphy that they were not bound by their Jersey City data center and would consider leaving NJ if he signed the bill into law. Well, here we are and NASDAQ will do what’s appropriate in response.

Last one out, please shut the lights!

Remember hurricane sandy it flooded Manhattan a couple of years ago, the point is a facility could be built to withstand any hurricane. The Home Shopping Network was based out of St. Petersburg and was built to withstand a Cat 5 hurricane with enough power production capacity to operate indefinitely so long as diesel fuel was delivered
