Negative public opinion toward China has significantly increased in several advanced economies, according to a new survey released by the Pew Research Center on Tuesday.

In nine of the 14 countries included in the survey, negative views on China have reached their highest point since Pew began collecting data on the topic more than a decade ago.

In Australia, 81% of respondents said they see China unfavorably, a 24% increase since 2019. In the United States, negative views of China have also increased nearly 20% over the last four years. Around three-quarters of respondents in the United Kingdom now view China negatively, a 19% increase since 2019.

Negative public opinion toward China was also surveyed at its highest ever by Pew in Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, South Korea, Spain and Canada.

The coronavirus pandemic exacerbated negative perception of China among the 14 advanced economies surveyed, as an average of 61% of respondents among all countries surveyed think China did a bad job combating the pandemic.

Only the US polled worse, with 84% of respondents saying the US has done a poor job with COVID-19.

Interestingly enough, Biden’s name in Mandarin is 乔·拜登, or Qiáo Bài Dēng, which sounds like “Chow Buy Dung” . . .

It isn’t China ... it’s ChiComs.

AmerComs (the DNC) are just as bad.

I don’t think people used “RusComs” when Soviet Russia was the problem.

That's because the Czar didn't flee to Novaya Zemlya off the coast of Russia to maintain a government in exile like Chiang Kai-shek did with Taiwan.

Well, in between the Tsar and Lenin, there was that “bourgeois democratic” Russia that existed from February to October of 1917, which was made unstable by Lenin’s depredations with Germany’s aid. Nicholas II had abdicated peacefully and the royal family was not in any danger until Lenin gained power.

Probably because SovRus didn’t flow the way ChiCom does.

As for the modern DNC, they are the very people the HUAC was convened to prevent them ever having influence.

The older DNC too. Maybe even going back to 1832.

To paraphrase 1984’s O’Brien, they got him a long time ago.

Umm ... HUAC was convened by Democrats. They were so-called “progressives” (which was bad enough) but they weren’t yet anti-American socialists.

Before the reagan Democrats there were what we might call the McGovern Republicans, people like Hillary, who were the unwholesome part of the Republican party that swept into the Democrat party to join with the equally vile resident far Left Democrats. They took over the party apparatus. Carter was actually the last real push back agains them to try to dislodge them ... which failed.

Now nothing of the old extreme Left is extreme to them anymore. They probably think McGovern was centerist and LBJ right of center.

That’s kind of a nonsequitur. People like Martin Dies and Reagan were nothing like people such as Wilson (who equated socialism with democracy), FDR, Hiss and their ilk who held power in that party; and RINOs were certainly around back then, e.g. Arthur Larson, who wrote “A Republican Looks At his Party” infamously mimicking Communist sympathizer Dean Acheson (author of “A Democrat Looks At his Party”).

You may not have understood what I meant when I said “progressives” were already bad.

Progressivism from its earliest days was opposed to our system of governance. It was more in line with the French Republic (that clown Wilson credited the French with the ideals in their Rights of Man essay and neglected our own founding ... which was far better and wiser).

I’m not saying that progressives were good after any fashion. Not even the 19th century sort. But even a treacherous, faithless, oath-of-office-taking-in-vain scumbag like FDR (who was, incidentally, also the master of corruption and quid pro quo) is not quite in the same category of simply Hell-bound awfulness that rules the DNC today.

Actually, since the DNC is run by those the Cultural Marxist shat out I would go so far to say that in their inability to sustain a civilization and a nation they are even worse than the ChiComs they now actively serve (no being a powerful Democrat without getting your 30 pieces of silver).
