A poll shows Portland, Oregon, mayoral candidate Sarah Iannarone is up 11 percentage points over the city's incumbent Democratic mayor, Ted Wheeler.
A survey conducted by DMH Research on behalf of the Portland Business Alliance shows Iannarone with 41% support and Wheeler with 30% support. Sixteen percent of respondents said they would write in a candidate, and 13% said they were undecided.

Iannarone has defended antifa, an often-violent activist group whose masked supporters protest law enforcement and work to promote left-wing policies, once tweeting, "I am Antifa."
In an interview with Fox News host Jesse Waters at the beginning of September, Iannarone was asked, "Why do you call yourself the 'Antifa mayor?'"
"Because it's good to oppose fascism!" Iannarone declared.

Wait there is a difference between Ted Wheeler, who loves antifa and gives them all the room to riot and another antifa lover? Who whould have thought that!
These people throw the word fascism around when they clearly have no clue what it means.
They are the fascists.
Portland not only has extra buckets of crazy, but the buckets are overflowing.
I’m waiting for them to get nice new uniforms designed by Hugo Boss.
Sure why not?
The current mayor burned it all down.
Why not get one to sew salt into the soil?
I guess the next one takes the oldest male child from each household?
Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.
H. L. Mencken
Bend over Portland, here it comes.
she claims to support unions, yet Antifa has made union jobs leave cities. She also claims to have come from a working class family. Antifa doesnt work, they spend all night protesting and all day sleeping in the city parks.
Hopefully all the crazies will gather in certain dysfunctional cities and ruin them further but leave the rest of the country alone.
People in Portland must really love to see their city burn down. I wonder how much they will enjoy being killed. They deserve everything they vote for.
Perhaps it is time to rethink the size of the republic.
“Wait there is a difference between Ted Wheeler, who loves antifa and gives them all the room to riot and another antifa lover? Who whould have thought that!”
I think that if the new politician becomes mayor that he/she/dre (or whatever preferred pronoun) will be in for a shock. I watched Obama’s response when being protested by people he thought should be on his side. He was nonplussed and kept saying, “but, don’t you see? We’ve won. I-It’s me!” The people who protest know nothing about policy or economics or culture; they simply protest. It doesn’t matter who is in charge. You could appoint the present protest leader to the position and they would keep on protesting and he would say into the microphone, “b-b-but, it’s me! What are you doin?”
Dont forget that the innocent citizens of Portland have civil rights, no matter what a majority of insane socialists vote for.
It is only going to get worse in the Democrat run cities like this.
Flee L.A.
Flee S.F.
Flee NYC
Flee Mini-Min
Flee any city where the riots are happening regularly. It's going to get a lot worse IMHO.
Is it the water? The pubic schooling? The fluoride? The TV? The food additives? The smartphone content? The sugar?
What has created our idiocracy?
Many blue or purple incumbents in small towns, and counties, here in Illinois are being challenged by Marxist, Bernie supporters. They paint my far left rep as too conservative. Be watchful bc its happening in many small towns.
Good. Let them burn the whole place down.
They are Communists.
Looks like voter with any sense have already fled Portland.
What’s left is going to get what they deserve - anarchy, violence and chaos.
Twiddly Dee. Twiddly Dumber and more radical. Portland should be nuked from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.
Welcome to Joe Biden's (and Obamas' and Clintons') Amerika. 71 percent are far left, 13 percent aren't sure, and only 16 percent are not far left.
The education, media, and political systems are certainly winning in Portland. Let's hope we can slow this down in the rest of America.
