I was wondering if any of your churches prayed for Trump and others who have Covid.
I found it interesting that mine did not. I can't remember a church not praying for a president who was in the hospital. It turned me off.
He was mentioned but not prayed for congregationally.
The new church we are attending could do better with congregational prayer in general. My old church prayed for leaders routinely as the Bible says. But I can’t be nit picky that’s for sure.

Right now, our “church” is the daily mass on EWTN, And yes, they always pray for POTUS (with an emphasis on his illness of late), Congress and governors.
Mine did not. I’m very upset about it. Oh they prayed for the illegal ones though. “Spit”
Ours didn’t and I was very surprised. He’s been preaching for a month about how we need to pray for this election. I know he’s a Trump supporter although he can’t publicly say so.
Yes - I lead a prayer meeting 45 minutes before service, we prayed for President Trump, Melania, Hope Hicks, and all those that have contracted the Chinese virus.

As a Northeasf Catholic, doesn’t surprise me. A lot lefty parishes around here. It’s disgusting. COVID has allowed me to find some really great priests online...Father Mime Schmitz, namely.

Our pastor did lead in prayer for him but didn’t forget to mention that,from what he could tell, the President wasn’t saved. Then he made a fuss over how nice it was that Hussein Obama called to wish him well. I know he’s not fond of President Trump, so I ended up tuning out the message this morning. I got fed spiritually later by watching Pastor Charles Lawson’s message on YouTube. He had some kind things to say about POTUS!
In the Orthodox Church we ALWAYS pray for
“The President of the United States, all civil authorities, and our Armed Forces everywhere”
