He's gone from "the most trusted news host," to "the most despised news host," in one day. He lied his butt off at the debate, and lied his butt off after the debate (about who interrupted who, etc,)

But Fox is protecting this guy, and even putting him "in your face" every time they can. The people most likely to honestly criticize Wallace are some of the Fox people, and they have be warned against doing so - and even cut off mid-sentence if they try to. His wiki page has been carefully and professionally groomed.

Everyone KNOWS the guy screwed up, but he doesn't have to face questioning about his continuing, easily demonstrable lies.

So why is Fox going overboard protecting this obviously damaged person?

Here is why: They're stuck with this guy. Too much money.

Ailes brought Wallace and others in back in 2011 as part of his leftist “course correction”. Nine years later and the poison is too ingrained at Fox, so it’s about ideology rather than money.

Funny. it’s like the NFL. The guys get the big bonus money up front. Guaranteed. They then have the option of not putting out their best effort or heaven forbid, kneeling.

Which of those new "genius" execs at Fox agreed to pay that slimy butt-boil that much money?

Fine, then they get to be stuck with this loser albatros. I’m encouraging a write-in campaign to can him. I won’t return until he’s gone.

When Judge Pirro or Tucker were under attack, they took a few days off until things settled down. Two-tiered rules for Republicans.

He came across as in tank for Biden, which he was. So to counter that they put him in every show where he does nothing but confirm it.

Wallace is only despised by Trump supporters. The liberals who run FNC couldn’t care less what we think.

The more they shove him in people’s faces, the more disliked he becomes.
Because he is such a moron.

His dad worked until he was 109, but we must note that Chris is 72 and perhaps he’ll retire in the next few years. He really really wanted to have the moderator gig again this year and he fell flat on his face. So this may be his professional legacy. Couldn’t happen to a nicer Smug smarmy a-hole

You must live in a legal weed state. Wall-Ass was following orders. That simple. Fox except for a very hosts is Never Trump. Owners, the board, the management, the production staff... pretty much the whole lot. If you don’t realize that I don’t know what to tell you other than quit smoking that stuff. What Wall-Ass is being paid has no bearing on this. Trillions are at stake. Trump is upsetting their gravy train apple cart they have been riding on the American middle classes backs and these people are kicking and screaming about it.

Sometimes it’s better to get rid of sunk costs. Wallace will do so much damage to the credibility of Foxnews with conservatives if he’s allowed to work the rest of his contract. I would just force him to not work while he’s collecting paychecks. He will die without the spotlight, or he will allow them to break the contract with him.

They’re not stuck with the guy, they LOVE him.

Wallace HATES trump and would do everything possible to wreck him.

The board of Fox news HATES trump, and would do everything possible to wreck him.

They are absolutely on the same page. They are thrilled with his horrifically biased performance, they knew it was coming.

You could switch to One America News, but don’t hope for any change on Fox

Two techniques that work for me. I use them whenever we are watching Fox News:

1. Never ever ever watch Fox News Sunday.

2. On our Samsung TV the mute button is very handy. I call ir the Chris Wallace button. It is used whenever this idiot pops up on Fox and I’m too lazy to change the channel.

And also, the article says Wallace identifies as a Republican despite being registered as a a Democrat. Give a break. Nobody believes that.

I saw him on Fox news yesterday and he said that “I will have to be tested since I was on that stage with them.”

As if we’re supposed to feel sorry for him.

Report: Fox News Top Brass “Toasted” Chris Wallace’s Debate Performance With Champagne:

“According to a New York Times article, the top brass at Fox News, Lachlan Murdoch (son of Rupert) and Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott were so pleased with Wallace, they actually toasted him with champagne after his debate spectacle.”
