The House voted overwhelmingly Friday to condemn the baseless QAnon conspiracy theory as the online movement identified as a potential domestic terrorist threat by the FBI has gained traction with some in the Republican Party.
The vote was 371 to 18 for the resolution sponsored by Reps. Tom Malinowski (D-N.J.) and Denver Riggleman (R-Va.) and came days after Malinowski said he received death threats from QAnon supporters after a false GOP ad accused him of lobbying to protect sexual predators.
Seventeen Republicans and one independent voted against the resoultion condemning QAnon, a pro-Trump conspiracy theory that has been a central vector of misinformation about the coronavirus, on the same day the president said he and his wife had tested positive for the virus.

If it’s a baseless conspiracy theory why the rush
to condem it?
The FBI says it’s a terrorist threat but Antifa isn’t???
I’m curious what they think they are condemning?
The GOP lawmakers voting “no” were Reps. Jodey Arrington (Texas), Brian Babin (Texas), Rob Bishop (Utah), Mo Brooks (Ala.), Michael Burgess (Texas), Buddy Carter (Ga.), Warren Davidson (Ohio), Jeff Duncan (S.C.), Drew Ferguson(Ga.), Bill Flores (Texas), Paul Gosar (Ariz.), Steve King (Iowa), Mike Kelly (Pa.), Ralph Norman (S.C.), Scott Perry (Pa.), Thomas Tiffany (Wis.) and Daniel Webster (Fla.).
Rep. Justin Amash (L-Mich.), who used to be a Republican, also voted against the resolution.
Another GOP lawmaker, Rep. Andy Harris (Md.), voted present.
Senate should send it back with the addendum which condemns violence by antifa and blm
If it’s baseless, why bother bringing it up? If truly baseless, it will die of its own lack of merit and there is no need to kick a dog that is already dead.
So, is this what PANIC looks like?
Askin' for a FRen..
There are nearly 5000 “dangerous, racist, violent, antisemitic” Q posts. I’ve yet to see a single news outlet quote one of them to prove their point.
I think the Q phenomenon is real, it is part disinfo to rattle the left and part cheer-leading squad for the Trump train...with tidbits of real intelligence thrown in.
They certainly fear the Q.
BTW: Thanks for your service tet68, I’m assuming you were there otherwise why the name :—)
Yeah, they apparently dont have anything better to do.
Have they voted to condemn our cities being burned to the ground? Or people being beaten and killed for their political beliefs? Should we then assume they approve?
They have just increased the credibility of the Q fakery by leaps and bounds. Clueless, corrupt idiots.
Why would they waste their time doing this if Q is just a rambling crackpot conspiracy theorist?? or are they SCARED???
Under Nancy’s Leadership(LOL) all they do is Condemn
