Since the debate moderators don’t rely on their supposed “vast knowledge of news” to correct any facts or lack there of, why do we need anchors? Basically they just read the question & interrupt.
There is no special skill set involved. Any plumber, truck driver or referee could do it. So why is it imperative that a news anchor be involved?

How sad that people die from the disease. That has to be hard.
With the neuropathy, it’s not fatal. But we have lost a couple to suicide, the pain is ridiculous. But we are lucky that there’s been research going on for 10 years. Are used to be that people were told they were crazy, they looked fine. At least there’s a way to diagnose and confirm it now. But most ophthalmologists are still clueless.

I was reading (not listening) when it happening; I think it depended on how you were listening. Apparently if you were listening as a Rush member or on the app, you heard it, but they caught it before it was broadcast over the radio.
