Why I'm leaving California

My family and my company are leaving California.

It's heartbreaking.

My parents moved to California four decades ago. I grew up here. For 33 of the 36 years I've spent on this planet, I've lived here. I was born at St. Joseph's in Burbank; I attended elementary school at Edison Elementary; I went to college at UCLA. I co-founded a major media company here, with 75 employees in Los Angeles. I met my wife here; all three of my kids are native Californians.

Levin (the “constitutionalist”) was all in for the Cubanadian.

He turned around faster than Cheetos face, but has ruined his credibility with me.

California, Washington and Oregon are on a path to Haitian style of living, or Mexico and its cardboard housing. Do they make waterproof cardboard?

Shapiro could have written a 20 page essay on everything bad in California these days.

My wife just got back to North Idaho this afternoon from a business trip to the San Fran Bay Area. She was at the local bakery on the peninsula and said of all the people in front of her in line and behind her, NONE spoke English. Thirty years ago there, you only heard English. Now it is almost 100% Hindi and Mandarin.

A relative is buying a house there and her realtor says she has two clients currently selling their CA home and moving to Idaho. We are overrun with Californians here in North Idaho.

If CA didn’t spend tens of billions of citizen dollars every year on illegals, so many of the problems in the state would be solved. But the Dems keep ratcheting that spending on illegals up and up.

The “governance” of CA is horrible beyond belief.

The tech companies in the San Fran Bay Area are completely dominated by Indians and Chinese. Stop by Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Santa Clara, Milpitas, Hayward, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Los Altos, and Menlo Park. You can’t miss it.

Obama funded many “green” companies in the Bay Area (Solyndra was the most notorious) and the CEOs of those companies funneled a quarter of the money he gave them back to the Dem Party. It is the most crooked financial conveyor belt imagineable.

I suspect at some point California will snap out of its mostly man made and politically orchestrated nightmare

That is wishful thinking. The Democrats have completely changed the demographics of the state. There is no going back.

Left in 2001. Moved to San Jose in 1970. Then a great place for an engineer to live and work.
