Car rips through crowd at Black Lives Matter protest and counter-protest in Yorba Linda.

A Black Lives Matter protest against police brutality and systemic racism was met with a counter-protest and turned violent when a car drove through the crowd in Yorba Linda on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 26.

The BLM march took place on Imperial Highway, with counter-protesters gathered along the other side. At one point, the counter-protesters crossed the six-lane highway and confronted the BLM group as they shouted, “Black Lives Matter” and “U.S.A.”

Then a white sedan came tearing through the crowd.

Just an FYI the Imperial Highway in Yorba Linda is not an interstate or freeway. It is a large surface street with many cross street traffic signals, 3 lanes in each direction and mostly with a raised divider. When Nixon was a child, the area was all citrus groves and this was the “highway” from LA all the way to Calexico at the border in Imperial County, like a farm-to-market road.

Below this is the video from the other thread. It looks to me like the beginning is at the end. At the end, the white car has hit someone. The crowd surrounds the car and some people are trying to take photos of the car when the driver runs over more people - which is where the video begins. I did not see anyone flopping on the hood and I can hear the thump as the car hits the people in the beginning part.

Also, when I made my first post to this thread, I could ONLY see one of the two videos (the stupid sideway one) the other one wouldn’t play for me until later.

There is no context in the sideways one, you just see it happening and ending with her at the light. The first one gave more context.

If the guy was taking a picture to ‘Dox” her I don’t buy that either...or at least, I didn’t before all this BS started about six months ago. Now, I admit to wanting to know who these people on the Left are.

Still don’t cotton to blocking traffic, though.

There are two videos:

The first one seems to provide more context, but I couldn’t get that one to play for a while. It shows the car surrounded with someone stepping in front to snap an image of the plate. It appeared to be that action of him taking a picture that caused her to accelerate, which makes me suspicious she didn’t want her plate known.

The second video, the one shot sideways, shows the white car accelerating and exiting the parking lot and heading up the street. It doesn’t provide any context whatsoever, and the OCR deliberately made it look like she had been the victim of an unprovoked attack by right-wing men with American flags.

At least to my eye.

I’ve read a bit more, seems likely there was some type of altercation or verbal exchange in the parking lot. She could have sprayed some of them...I dunno.

But I’d bet there is more video out there.

I will say-I just watched the first video where the woman runs up and jumps in the car through the open door...there wasn't much time for her to percolate and get irritated...she jumped in, closed the door, and accelerated, like she was running away from something.

She comes up to the car, and has a long white object in her right hand (highlighted with red region) which she throws in the back seat as she gets in, and closes the door at the six second mark.

At the nine second mark, she accelerates and runs down the people. She didn't waste any time. I think she did something and wanted to get out of there. That looked like a baton or something in her hand.

And the people standing there (Except for the guy taking the picture of her plate) didn't seem to be blocking her, it is the kind of thing where someone might be standing there looking dumbly at the parked car with the door open, not realizing it was going to take off and they should get out of the way. They certainly weren't facing it with an aggressive "Come at me bro" pose.

Three seconds from the door closing to acceleration...that is a get the hell out of here, start the car, put it in gear, and hit the gas, not a "Will you people please get out of my way, I have somewhere to go" type of action.

See my post above. I don’t think this is a driver annoyed at being held up. This is someone beating feet. Three seconds from getting in and closing the door to accelerating and hitting people.

I was dismayed when I first saw this and thought “Oh man, are WE doing this crap too?”

But now, after having time to see it and think on it, I don’t think so. And what did she have in her hand? Did she DO something with it? Hit someone? Damage someone’s car?

She tried to get out in a hurry.

Hell, everyone is videoing everything all the time. If I went to something like that nowadays, I would wear a GoPro.

She was outside of the car and another woman was inside, the woman inside gets out and the c*nt in the picture steps into the car and immediately drove into the crowd. It is 100000000% on her.

Yorba Linda is a nice city in Orange County...
I don’t think that city has a “bad” area...

I know that Anaheim and Santa Ana has some “bad” areas...I am talking about gangs...
