A Black Lives Matter protest against police brutality and systemic racism was met with a counter-protest and turned violent when a car drove through the crowd in Yorba Linda on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 26.
The BLM march took place on Imperial Highway, with counter-protesters gathered along the other side. At one point, the counter-protesters crossed the six-lane highway and confronted the BLM group as they shouted, “Black Lives Matter” and “U.S.A.”
Then a white sedan came tearing through the crowd.

If you look at the dates of 1/10/2017 where Clapper works with Ignatius at the Washington Post to get an article about Flynn's conversations with Kislyak out there two days later. This put the conversation in the public eye for a specific reason, so that talk could begin about it...in the public eye.
Then, again, on 1/23/2017 where the Washington Post publishes article: “FBI reviewed Flynn’s calls with Russian ambassador but found nothing illicit” by Ellen Nakashima and Greg Miller.
That one was a deliberate set up for the ambush of Flynn the next day at the White House to put him at ease. Done deliberately.
President Trump is correct in his criticisms of the Press. They are working in concert and are co-conspirators working with domestic enemies of this country to bring it down.
This article is just run of the mill for the media.
Again, I am not disagreeing with you in any way. My focus is more on the reporting aspect.
The Trump supporters were in the parking lot and the lying stinking festering press won’t tell people that.
I just went to google maps based on the street signs and found where they were standing from the video.

It was INTENTIONALLY written that way.
A clear cut case of a car running people down in a parking lot is presented to the public by a “trusted and respected” media outlet such as the Orange County Register as:
“...far right wing white supremacists illegally jaywalking and blocking traffic, and one of the right wingers smashed her windshield and smashed an American Flag through the rear window...”
Millions of Americans would read this, even today, and say to themselves “This must be true. Why would a respected newspaper lie to us?”
That is exactly the narrative the OCR wanted to disseminate.
I cannot fault people for getting the wrong impression...that was the OCR reporter’s intent. Granted, we have to at least dig and read the story to see the BS, but there are millions of people across this country who are saying “Hey, maybe the Democrats are right, and it is far right-wing white supremacists causing these rioting problems!”
Because that is what I have been hearing them say for months now.
It makes me steaming mad.
People STILL trust them. They STILL think they can get the “facts” from the media.
We know better, but I guarantee, there are going to be important voices on the Left in the next five weeks who are going to point at THIS as proof the Left wasn’t behind, and rooting for, the violence and mayhem.
And no amount of protesting or presentation of the facts is going to change the minds of millions of Americans to whom this episode is simply a data point to buttress the claims of the Left.
Shameful.
I will have to be consistent here... if the guys on our side were in the street and blocking the road illegally, I don’t feel very sorry for them anymore than I do when the left blocks the highway and someone plows through them.
If “protestors” are on a Federal Interstate it is a federal crime. State routes and highways are state concerns. Most Interstates that I know have it prohibited that pedestrians are allowed to be on them without being in a moving vehicle. There should federal officers arresting all pedestrians that are supposedly protesting on Interstate highways. This circumnavigates local DAs and governments to take care of the miscreants.
Forget the above post. Interstate highways are federally funded but owned and operated by the state.

Don’t know the circumstances, but it sure looked like what Antifa does. Seems to me they should have just allowed the vehicle to proceed.
I think the driver was a BLM supporter who was trying to run over Trump supporter. Bad wording in headline.
Orange County Register has now gone full on left. The editorial page has a couple of Libertarians but that is it. Do not expect to get a straight up story. It will be slanted to the side of the BLM.
