I need more. My main mouser cat had 7 kittens. 2 she rolled over or something, then the rest got bigger, they got on solid food. Then my redbone killed them all. He’s such an idiot. He’d gotten along before that. I don’t know why he changed his mind, but my favourite one was such a nice girl.

I got 4 more, a bit bigger, so hoping they make it. The mice are rampant.

For a ‘Field Marshal,’ you’re kind of a softie, LOL!

Please add me to your Ping List. Thanks!

Maybe a little soft. I was posting these to take folks’ mind off the 24/7 China Flu coverage in past months (or the rest of the garbage/hate from the usual suspects). A couple of minutes of cuteness.

I added you to the list. :-)

Ya, redbone coonhound. He was doing so well until just the other day.

The new cats are in the garage and the one mother that was still here is busy hissing at everyone. She’s going to be out of sorts for a few days I’m sure.

Puma Messi apparently received a YouTube award a while back.

Like most cats, he seemed to be far less interested in the award than in the box it came in:

I have a problem with a little cat, and perhaps someone here can help.

Over the past few weeks, this cat goes to sleep on his usual chair at about 10 or 11 every night; and after about an hour, he wakes up as if from a nightmare, wanders around meowing, and then tries to lie on his bigger brother, who is sleeping nearby under a table. He seems very agitated - and after I pet him and console him a little, he calms down, gets back in his chair, and goes to sleep again. (sometimes, he’ll get into bed with us, after this episode, as he has often done when it’s colder outside; and sleep all night.)

This is the same cat that went through a period a few months ago when he was very agitated and querulous for many days; but he had been over that and seemed normal for months.

He has no illness, and is not on any medication; nothing has changed in his routine or diet. He’s only about six years old, but acting like there’s some mild mental issue.

Has anyone else experienced this? I’ve had cats all of my life, and have never seen it before.

I don’t know. I’ve watched my cats sleeping while they’re having a nightmare (twitching, crying out while still sleeping or growling), but usually once they’ve jarred awake, they’ve forgotten it (or doesn’t appear to have caused them emotional distress).

Perhaps either call your vet and tell them what’s going on with his distress or “Google it” as they say and see if there is a cat problems message board that describes a similar situation and how it was handled.
