LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Two bench warrants have been issued for a central figure in the Breonna Taylor case, sources told WAVE 3 News on Wednesday.
The revelation comes two days after WAVE 3 News received 39 pages of leaked documents that paint a picture of a close relationship between Taylor and her ex-boyfriend, convicted drug dealer Jamarcus Glover.
Its unfortunate that the city did not provide LMPDs post-death report and that we only learned of it until it was leaked to the media, Sam Aguiar, an attorney representing Taylors family, told WAVE 3 News on Wednesday.
"Either way, it doesn't change whether she should've been killed or the unlawful actions surrounding her killing," Aguiar added.
Glover, 30, skipped a recent court appearance; his lawyer said Wednesday that he doesnt know where his client is. A warrant was issued for his arrest on July 27. Glover faces a number of drug-related charges in two separate cases.
The documents include a number of new details related to the evidence LMPD detectives presented in the warrant used to raid Taylors apartment on March 13. Taylor, 26, was shot dead during the raid, prompting a national outcry demanding police reform and three months of protests on Louisvilles city streets. During the incident, LMPD Sgt. Jon Mattingly was shot by Taylors boyfriend, Kenneth Walker. Mattingly was one of three officers who fired back.
WAVE 3 News has learned the author of the undated report is an investigator in an ongoing narcotics case against Glover, but is not part of the Taylor death investigation. The leaked documents were first reported Tuesday by the Courier-Journal.

Breonna doing bank transactions for the drug dealer, 26 recorded conversations with him while he was in jail.
It was out in the public a month ago.
Obviously, it did not get much national play.
How about the new boyfriend who shot the police officer ? No charges against him ???
This guy seems to love ‘renting’ properties and vehicles.....
Glover couldn’t keep his mouth shut. He actually blamed the current boyfriend for her death stating that if she had stayed with him, she would still be alive. This was because he said wouldn’t have shot at the cops.
Now that he has moved the blame from the cops, the D.A. will have words with him!
The warrant was legal.
The boyfriend's response appears to have been justified, as well.
For him, it all comes down to did he know they were police, or should he have a reasonable belief they were police.
Home invaders yelling in the middle of the night and breaking down doors is pretty common.
Even home invades yelling "police" happens repeatedly.
He had no criminal record, and he dialed 911 immediately after the shooting.
It was recorded. The operator asks him who shot his girlfriend. He basically, sobs hysterically, I don't know, I don't know.
Considering the case and all the press, it will be hard to find a jury which would convict, imho.

No charges for shooting cops as they entered the apartment and no drug charges for what was in the apartment.

Here’s a suggestion, go back to law school and take a class in warrants. You need it because you are a mule. The Grand Jury found nothing unlawful about the police actions. How about the guy shooting at the police? Think he will be charged with murderer? His actions cause the death of Ms. Taylor.
Maybe Hannity should read this report after he painted Taylor as a perfect angel on his show a few days ago.
See here, little angel Breonna just an innocent victim of out of control coppers who roam around deciding which black residence they are going to invade like the night riders of 150 years ago. All of this more than justifies the warrant. It was not served as a no knock warrant, they announced their presence and intent. Would be nice if that all had been reported long ago but it would not help the tale of cops out of control. The only out of control nut was the guy who fired blindly into the residence and he is being tended too. There was no murder here.
I suspect shooting a police officer who was legally doing hid duty is a felony. His girlfriend was killed thus making him legally liable for her death.
It was tragic because when you break down doors in the middle of the night, lots of people will object and defend themselves.
Just yelling "police" does not cut it.
Criminals yell "police" to facilitate their crimes with some regularity.
Yelling "police" meets the legal criteria for warrant service, but it is not a sufficient notice in many cases, from a rational perspective.
OK.
Everybody who has had the police find a dead body in your car, raise your hand.
Everybody here knowingly hiding drugs and drug money in their house, raise your hand.
[Heres a suggestion, go back to law school and take a class in warrants. You need it because you are a mule.]
You can’t shoot through the door when someone knocks on it and states they are the police.
It seems pretty clear the ex boyfriend thug was using Taylor's' clean record as cover for his drug business. He was using her for her clean address, rental cars, bank accounts, etc. This does not mean she was a drug dealer.
I'm not saying for certain she was not involved but the fact that no drugs of any kind were found in the apartment not even a trace. Also no drug paraphernalia, no large amounts of cash, no illegal weapons or stolen property. Taylor has no criminal record. It's pretty darn hard to be involved in drug trafficking and remain that squeaky clean.
As far as the current boyfriend shooting at the officers this was very clearly self defense and the DA obviously agrees.
Bottom line the police had zero business serving this warrant in the manner they used. "We announced" is total bunk as there are far too many ways the occupants could possibly not hear the announcement. A reporter interviewed at least a dozen residents of the apartment complex and found only ONE resident who heard "police" and that person lived directly above Taylor. It's entirely possible the one person who heard the announcement actually heard "police" AFTER they broke down the door.
We need to put a stop to serving warrants by forcible entry under any circumstances. There is no compelling reason why the police should not be required to get a response from the occupants of the home. Braking down doors in the middle of the night announced or otherwise is getting people killed needlessly and for very little if any gain.
We should fully support Rand Pauls bill to ban no knock warrants. If this is successful then expand the law to mandate police get a response from the occupants of a property before entering. It's way past time to put a stop to this third world police state tactic of ambushing people in their homes.
Enough to make one ill.
You can, but it is a bad idea.
But it did not happen in this case, so it is sort of irrelevant in this discussion.
The officer who shot through the door is being charged with reckless endangerment, but that happened after the original exchange of gunfire, which was just inside the door (for the police).
the city wants the land under the house
for slum clearance
the real question is whether the mayor or judge has
a financial interest in the house
Don’t let him get away with his crime due to his get out of jail card.
