Fantastic game. Pretty much no mention of politics at all, just excellent football from both teams. Only drawback was the lack of a crowd. As Al Michaels said during that edge-of-your-seat last five minutes, if the notoriously-boisterous Seattle crowd had been there, it would have been in a frenzy.
Even I have more sense then that!!!
Wonder if they meant to bet $350 and were so drunk they thought the extra zeros were just double vision.
It’s the other reason I don’t bother with sports, even the Stanley Cup Finals with the Stars. It’s just weird with no fans.
And especially with playoffs in a “bubble” and not home ice, I think the tournament is a sham. To me it won’t count as a real Title if the Stars win.
We listen to Steve Raible on radio watching the game when it's local.
Who does this? Always bet small amounts on long odds. Thats the only way to beat the vig in sports betting.
What professional gamblers will do is bet a small amount of their own money. If they win, they pocket their own money and bet with just the House money. Any winnings they take are funded by the House.
SUCKER!..........................
There’s a sucker born every minute....PT Barnum?
Never bet on the Falcons.....
They will always snatch defeat from the jaws of victory!
LOL!....................
As I was watching, I was saying to myself: He’s gonna screw this up..........
He either really needed that $1,050, or he's a very bad gambling addict.
If he really had to make this bet, he should have hedged with a $100 bet on the Cowboys.
I didn’t realize there was in-game betting.
La Tech came back from what was it, 17 down to win?
Navy came back from 21 down?
Now a week or two ago I was listening to sports talk - the caller complained that bets on the Pitt game were cancelled because the coaches had agreed to shorten the game. I think the opponent was Austin Peay.
They are called the Falcant’s for a reason.
Let’s not forget the Braves, they choke as well in important games.
Why did he run? Afraid to get hit?
We only lived a few blocks from Arlington track.
On the last race of the day, my dad won 500 dollars.
My mom was over joyed, my father looked at her and
said, “We broke even”.
My best day at the track left me enough to buy a t-shirt in the gift shop and stop at McDonald's on my way home.
I watched the man who gave me the betting advice win big one day. He always took a large amount to this one track (because he always had luck there before). He was disciplined with his bets but he'd put a lot down on some races. He won the daily double and then passed on all the other races and put everything he brought and his winnings on one horse in the featured race. His horse won and paid off at 4 to 1 IIRC. Anyway, he had to fill out the IRS forms before he could be paid and as he was leaving I overheard the teller ask him if he wanted to have security escort him to his car. I never heard the amount but those things tell me it had to have been large amount.
Hawks v. Pats
Was there ANYBODY in the stands (whoops, sorry ... watching at home) who didnt expect Cam to call his own number on that last-ditch, all-or-nothing play? Tom Brady would have read the defense, seen who was open, and thrown accordingly.
I think Cam loves watching his own replays.
Yeah - Patriots made a mistake with him.
At half-time I told my friend who is a die hard Cowboys fan that the Falcons would choke and Dallas would win by 1.
That kind of screams money laundering to me.
