You may or may not care for Jackson Pollocks work, or you may think its overrated, but his first drip paintings are nevertheless significant pieces in the history of art. The Everson Museum of Art in Syracuse owns the second drip painting Pollock ever completedRed Composition (1946)but it announced last weekend that it would sell it in order to fund its anti-racist policies and programming:

It’s theirs, who cares how they waste their money?
They can sell it, and someone else will own it and the Everson Museum will have nothing to show for ever owning it.
So what.
Good God! That’s just as asinine as when, up here in Ontario a few years back, the McMichael Family gifted their Group of Seven collection to the Province of Ontario in order that it could be a museum of some of the most important and influential art in Canadian history. Of course, the curator that ultimately got appointed by the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) in Toronto decided that the McMichael Gallery needed to ‘diversify its focus’ to modern art instead, and she proceeded to mothball and minimise the exhibits of Group of Seven landscapes, (which were the whole reason for the museum’s existence in the first place), in order to bring in this all-important ‘diversity of vision’.
The McMichael family (and many more conservative Canadians as well), were so outraged that they ended up launching a lawsuit.
Well, maybe Whites are beginning to realize that modern art galleries and experts are a grifters game. Maybe the modern art shysters can con some wealthy black idiots into buying that garbage.
White paint is racist
No racism there eh?
Nah; here’s what to do: take all the white painters’ work downstairs — you know, Rembrandt, Michaelangelo, Van Gogh, Picasso and OK, Pollock. Then you could move all that great, world-changing, native African art — you know, the masks, grass skirts and effigies, spears, shields and such — upstairs. The world will then have been made a more just place, a better place to live.
But for heaven’s sake, don’t sell your valuable treasures. You might change your mind in a year or two.
Never gift artwork to a museum. These days they will sell it to raise funds or retroactively slur the donor. Anonymous loan per certain conditions...
So are liberals cancelling American abstract expressionism now? Is that where this is leading?
Pollack, DeKoonig, Motherwell, Gottlieb, Still, Rothko - all manly, straight white men who painted their brains out (and most died very old and pretty wealthy, too). All that privilege...
China dominates the resale pricing of Warhols.
I was just about to have my house painted.

Have a Rothko on the wall in my living room (mounted print, of course). Get a lot of positive comments on it.
I am starting to wonder when the leftists are going to load white people on trains to move them to re-education camps to be liquidated and cremated.
What next? Toss the white writers out of the library??
Dogs playing poker on velvet, yep that be a good replacement. Oh, and add a Michael Jackson doing the Moonwalk!
