Its just the flu, bro.
There has been a lot of discussion on these threads of different ways to ignore, stop or avoid the lockdown/mask rules. One way that seems particularly effective and appealing is partial compliance. Some great examples of partial compliance are: 1. wear your mask under your nose, or better yet as a chinstrap 2. always be polite and say yes when someone tells you some rule, but only do as they say partially or for a short time 3. If the required spacing is 6 feet then do 3 feet 4. act confidant when you blatantly break a rule, but not cocky and looking for a confrontation. Sometimes people dont confront confidant people because confidence makes Karens second guess what the rule really is. These passive aggressive acts help to break down the enforcement of the rules. They bewilder and infuriate those who are in charge of the rules and, ultimately, lead to a complete collapse in enforcement. For those Law and Order types - relax, breaking these mandates is often much less serious legally than breaking a real law.
The funny thing about the above paragraph is that it is, to a slight degree, the same subversive mindset as Antifa and BLM have when they go to a street protest. The first few times you try subversive action related to mask and lockdown mandates you may feel like a dirty Antifa, but relax you will get over it.

Ping. Freepmail Impimp to go on the ping list.
Good morning
I checked worldometer earlier today and saw that yesterday, the US had precisely 480 deaths which made our grand total precisely 199,000 deaths which I thought was darn neat and tidy.
We’ve had 18 deaths today, so it’s no longer so neat and tidy.
I have my nose sticking out when lifting at the gym so I don’t pass out and bang my head off of the DB rack...
I live the nose out method. Only got called out for it once. I said OK and then proceeded to cover my nose for about 60 seconds and then took my nose out again. What state do u live in? Texas has no masks when working out. In Colorado masks when lifting weights is often needed.
Pennsylvania. I don’t know if it’s a state thing, or an LA Fitness thing.
confidence is the ticket
act like you own your body
I have to fly next week. Not looking forward to three hours of maskitis.
IBK!
THis is weird. Two days in a row and no K? What gives?
He was in yesterday...I slept in and that threw him off yesterday. He is having a hard time when I vary the time that I post the thread.
I bet that makes him cranky as hell.
YES! I’m completely on board with this. Courage is contagious.
I’m in Peoria/Glendale AZ. Was in Hobby Lobby yesterday. All the nice ladies dutifully wearing masks. I did not wear a mask at all and no one said a word. I get “looks” but since you can’t see their face, who knows what they are thinking.
However, since I don’t have a mask on, I politely keep my distance when possible.
IBK after an hour and a half? Gee, I hope he doesn’t have the Chicom Cooties.
BTW, I read on a thread here the other day that flu deaths have been outnumbering Covid deaths for some time now. Strange how we never report on flu deaths...but I guess they’re not politically useful (at the moment).
I just don’t wear a mask. Period. I don’t social distance. People can keep their distance from me. My trick: I am old and ugly with a grumpy face while being quietly joyful inside. It took a great deal of effort to be ugly. My genes were only partially helpful. I work at it. I have yet to have a problem with Karens.
IBK two in a row!
