I’m so out of the loop that none of these names mean anything to me. But, boy, we have a weird world of interlocking pop culture and potential crime and the lust for wealth and fame. It all seems very twisted at the top.
I’m surprised all of the contestants aren’t black, as they replaced the two white hosts with a black woman for no reason besides black supremacy.
Will they get OJ for next season?
Anyone, who has worked or been part of the big cat and/or zoological communities over the past quarter-century knows what kind of person Carole F*in Baskin is, but she has always been made of teflon. People underestimate her intelligence and cunning strictly at their own peril.
Case in point: She was one of the first and earliest to truly *grok* the sheer power and possibilities for media saturation via YouTube, and was light-years ahead of anyone else in the industry (and still remains so). This is why any YouTube search involving any wild cat-related terminology will bring up Big Cat Rescue videos as the top results in your “recommended for you” list.
My prediction in all of this is that, eventually, certain people are going to be paid off and/or intimidated/threatened, and it will all go away, as it always does, and Carole will go right back to being the Animal “Rights” heroine she has always portrayed herself as (and which her never-sleeping, online Pinkerton Army of trolls and shills mercilessly enforce by riding to her rescue whenever she gets criticised anywhere online).
We had to watch DWTS just to see how it went without Tom and Erin totally bombed. Banks kept looking down like she was reading cue cards or something and her whole demeanor was just plain awful. I wonder how many viewers they had and how many will return next week. We won’t.
