Bernie Sanders ‘expressing concerns’ Joe Biden’s campaign isn’t progressive enough to energize Democrat base

SENATOR Bernie Sanders' has been expressing concerns over Joe Biden's presidential campaign, the Washington Post has reported, and is urging Biden's team to appeal to liberal voters.

According to three people familiar with Sanders' private conservations, Sanders has said Biden is at risk of losing the election if he continues to be too centrist.

Biden should talk more about health care, economic plans, and should campaign more alongside individuals who are popular with youths, such as Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Sanders has reportedly said.

Faiz Shakir, Sanders' campaign manager, released a statement regarding the alleged comments: “Senator Sanders is confident that Joe Biden is in a very strong position to win this election, but nevertheless feels there are areas the campaign can continue to improve upon."

He continued: “He has been in direct contact with the Biden team and has urged them to put more emphasis on how they will raise wages, create millions of good paying jobs, lower the cost of prescription drugs and expand health care coverage.”

Shakir added that Sanders thinks a "stronger outreach" to young people, the Latino community and the progressive movement would be "of real help to the campaign".

The Biden campaign has not yet commented.

I'm surprised Gropin' Joe finally found a way to shaddap AOC and the squad.

It’s a fine line to try to walk. Because if he too strongly embraces people like Ocasio Cortez , his embrace of her would potentially push away some of the more moderate voters he will need to win this election.

Any farther left and he would have to promise show trials and executions for Republicans.

Bernie Sanders is NOT a Democrat, his base are not Democrats.

Energizing Bernie’s Communist Marxist bases does not motivate Democrats and bleeds some off to stay at home or vote Republican.

This is an Alinsky play. He is saying to push the moderate Joe Narrative. MSM will broadcast this to re-assure suburban fence sitters especially women and it’s a lie.

Bernie’s right. Joe should start embracing his inner Beria - run on reparations, gun confiscation, re-education camps for all conservatives, replacing the police with party security squads, giving arrest authority to social justice warriors, complete banning of all fossil fuels, and forced relocation of the Kulaks to Siberia. It worked before.

AOC? She nominated Bernie at the convention and gave a speech that really was meant to make Biden look bad.

Remember all the past elections - the Left and the media always demanded that Republicans must move "to the middle" in order to appease moderate or independent voters while the Dem candidate remained liberal. And the Republican always lost anyway.

This is why you see the Left acting out the way they are. Because Trump has forever smashed that false construct. It was a damn lie, as proof that Republicans won huge in 1980, 1984, 1994, and in 2010.

Biden is senile.

The hidden premise (that Biden can talk seriously about any policy) is a false one.

Every voter should visit the dementia wing of an assisted living facility and discuss public policy with the residents there.

That will give them an idea of what the Biden candidacy is about....
