WASHINGTON — Emboldened by President Donald Trump’s campaign platform of law and order, militia groups have bolstered their strength before Election Day by attracting military veterans who bring weapons and tactical skills viewed as important to the organizations.
The role of veterans in the newly proliferating militia groups — which sometimes are steeped in racism and other times steeped simply in anti-government zealotry — has increased over the last decade, said a dozen experts on law enforcement, domestic terrorism and extremist groups.

I think you’re painting with an extremely large brush.
Yes there are a few things in that list that they don’t have. But there are some that are popping up that might challenge your assertions. They’re being organized by legit people, talking about legit stuff. It isn’t your 300lb slob with an AK anymore.
Communications...yes Coordination ... just a matter of reaching out to folks, the same way ANTIFA/BLM are able to do Supply lines ..... there are still retail stores in the US, isn’t there? Transport ..... They do have cars don’t they? Money ..... they got their guns and ammo from somewhere, unless they make everything in their basement Tactical Plans .... just a matter of sitting down and making one Unifying Philosophy ... the ones that are popping have a unifying philosophy thanks to ANTIFA/BLM/OWS/Dirty Policiticians/etc etc Command Structure ... just a matter of making one and veterans and LEOs involved will have no issues with doing that

That would be a game changer if the municipalities did that. Hell, even if they tried. Can you imagine going after them, their families and winning. Of every penny they make in the future a portion of it would go back to the people and business owners.

But there seems to be a movement of the complete opposite of what you’re talking about. The Real Soldiers are being effected by all this crap just like everyone else. And they just want to get on with life just like everyone else. Lots of these problems haven’t crept away from the cities, yet. It’ll be interesting to see what happens if they do.

This is a good thing. I’d like to find a real patriot militia. One with command and control. But I’m not military...but can shoot.
Considering how well the left’s narratives have been working I expect this strategy will increase militia enrollment more than it will increase votes for Democrats.

They have spotted and identified ANTIFA/BLM type arsonists in the Northwest .... big surprise. I would deploy our anti_terrorist Special Ops teams to practice live fire ops there. Snipers with night scopes, cameras to document, live ammo and prizes for most terrorists killed.
I would but my age keeps me from even finding out. I know there is militia in the county, though, and my prayers go for them. I was part of it back in 92 when everyone was getting ready for the threatened gun confiscation that Clinton and many other Democrats had hinted at before the midterms. I also observed that the price of an old WWII Garand went from about $150 to over 1500 between January and November then dropped suddenly back to 400 or so when the Republicans won the midterms. At meetings we had experienced vets, mostly VN vets doing weapons takedown and cleaning training. The really proficient trainers were all black. That served to dissipate entirely what remained of old time social attitudes here.
Veterans have always contributed significantly to the ranks of militias, and there is nothing wrong with that. There is a major effort underway to characterize militias as “white supremacist” organizations, and a domestic terror threat. Yet there is virtually zero violence perpetrated by militias or “patriot groups”, nor any proof that they are any more racist than the population at large. I would say they are far LESS racist than the average BLMer. If you are a member of one, know they they are being aggressively infiltrated by LE, and they will encourage and support acts of violence, even rising to agitating and radicalizing.
The cops they want to defund are the only thing keeping the communist agitators alive.
Time to do a little research into Jennifer’s qualifications.
