I remember being so pumped up from this and this speech will live on for a long time. Bush had a 90 percent approval rating at that time. Loved him in his first term but he lost me in his second term.

Very true.
Yup
This is true.
The Saudis didn’t hear him.
They had already flown out of the country.
What a difference 19 years makes.
I said this before, and I will say it again, I will never forget what happened on that day, nor will I ever forgive, justify, or accept the evil filth that perpetrated the attack or those who display similar evil like we see with the Bernie Bros and the democrat party.
Bush is dead to me. Huge disappointment. Sad how different our country is today.
God bless all those souls, including some friends, who died 19 years ago today. I will never forget.
plus, did n’t he let Saudi royalty leave the country immediately? I admit i could be wrong about that
okay, thanks. I thought I remembered him allowing them to leave. and why was that, i wonder??
And thanks to Trump we now know Bush is Deep State up to his eyeballs.
I know a family where the father was badly injured fighting in Iraq. Bush came to see him several times when he was in the hospital. He has stayed in touch with them over the years, checking in on occasion on his health and to see how their daughter was doing.
All of that speaks very well of him as a human being. But I’m less and less impressed by the job he did in office.
Starting a Department of Homeland Security just put this idea of the Deep State spying on everybody on steroids.
Though he does love America, he’s a globalist deep down.
then a few later he wanted to bring 10’s of millions of illegals and legalize those already here.
I wonder how much the Saudi’s paid him for letting all the witness’s/planners from Saudia Arabia go back to their home country while blocking all Americans from flying?
Bush outlawed the screening of airline passengers.
It had been legal during Clinton.
The gate agent at Boston said that Mohamed Atta spooked him and he wanted to have Atta taken aside for further screening. But he couldn’t because on 9-11 it was now illegal.
The blame for that belongs to Dubya and Senator Spencer Abraham.
