I thought owning dogs was racist because dogs were racist. I got a dog from a shelter at several months age. Sweetest dog you ever met, except he hated black people. We were mortified. Seriously, if I get a puppy, I’m going to have to get him used to black coworkers, friends, etc... because given the “high-class” shelter, I find it hard to believe he was trained to hate black people; I think it was something more about unfamiliarity or maybe a bad encounter or two with mean kids. I’d think it was a fluke, but it’s such a trope that even Brian from Family Guy is a racist. And making your lead character a race-hater is ballsy as hell from a show that tends towards politically correct shock humor (which in a decent society would be an oxymoron).

Just got in from the pouring rain, feeding them VERY expensive food and watering all TWELVE of them, cleaning soggy poop from their kennel floors and making sure each got petted and told they were a ‘Good Boy’ or ‘Good Girl.’
The Mule is pretty racist, too - demanding carrots and oats any time you’re near him!
I spend every two hours DAILY rotating them in and out of the Exercise Yard so they can stretch their legs and run around the ACRE we have fenced for their pleasure.

There’s no article directly linked discussing “shipping off” of early dogs, although one wonders how, well before UPS or the Silk Road, for that matter, “shipping” worked in 12,000 BC.
Anyway, this “professor” page cites three works:

- “Unifying Domestication and Evolutionary Biology through Ancient DNA”
Nothing on shipping there, but maybe that’s a specialist’s term we racist dog-owners aren’t party to.
I am a white Hispanic married to an Irish American, and we have 2 doggies. If that makes us racist, so be it. Our dogs are nicer than many people. Racist, racist that. It’s all an excuse for Communism, which is a hateful and failed form of government.
I looked at the professor’s page. Not much on the projects listed, Human Chicken Interactions might be fascinating, we eat them. But the little info on the dog domestication page seemed to indicate the professor was simply doing research on the origins of domestication, one place or many. A legitimate inquiry. It appears all the white racist, cultural appropriation and shipping stuff is the imagination of this articles author, as is the use of eurasian as some sort of racial identification. And if whoever domesticated them “shipped” them to Europe, the must have been selling them. Early capitalists.

Walking my dogs, mostly black, this weekend we passed a pasture we regularly pass with a herd of white cattle. This day, four of them broke off, headed to the fence, 3 wire strands, by the road and glared at us for a couple hundred yards till they hit another fence. Not a friendly glare, my dogs were growling. The cows must be racist, I'm sure the couple of what I think were fall calfs weren't the reason. Probably upset by the rioting, since they've never minded us before. The key to these things as the author would agree is to enter a situation with a fixed mindset or worldview, then everything becomes clear. Want to see racists, you will.
