And at age sixty nine, wow!
I think my RT (Reaction Time) can be accurately measured on a kitchen clock?

The pilot adage seems to apply to motorcycles as well...
There are the old, and there are the bold. Usually not both at the same time.

I hate the media! If this guy breaks the 300 mph barrier, we would not have heard one bit of it. But, he gets killed trying, and it is all over the media.
Same thing with MotoGP, Isle of Man, and auto racing.

1. that is speed for a ‘flying mile’ not a dead start mile.
2. MOST of the racers at Bonneville are older people.
A long time friend of mine has worked at Speed Week for well over 40 years & he is 82.

I owned hot bikes once upon a time Suzuki GS110RS......one of a few around...it had been raced My first bike was an H2 with anything we could add to beef her up My last bike was a GPZ bored over to around 1274 maybe Everything available to do in 1984 we did to her...she was a flash....gas canister...of course Ran ETs low 10s Around 180 or so top speed with proper sprockets Things slow down oddly ....you can converse with someone riding next to you on another bike at super high speed on a still especially humid day Let me find that super fast bike doing the bridge in Constantinople .....just a second Now this is fast ...
255 miles an hour Honda
