Agreed, The number of people leaving liberal controlled states are a mix of republicans finally reaching a breaking point and democrats fleeing unbearable costs of living and lack of jobs.

Fear of migrating liberals turning red states blue, may be worrying for nothing. The number of people moving to red state are substantially smaller than the population they are migrating to and most of them are heading to liberal/democrat run cities within those states.

The opposite effect may be realized in the blue states. See, the number of people leaving California directly effects California. But those leaving are not flooding into 1 specific state. I see it as a withdraw from California's voting population being redistributed throughout the country ultimately neutralizing their voting strength.
