Chesley Sully Sullenberger III, the retired pilot best known for successfully pulling off the Miracle on the Hudson, tore into President Trump in a series of Twitter posts Friday.
Mr. Sullenberger, who served in the U.S. Air Force before starting his civil aviation career, slammed Mr. Trump over disparaging remarks he reportedly made about service-members.
While I am not surprised, I am disgusted by the current occupant of the Oval Office. He has repeatedly and consistently shown himself to be completely unfit for and to have no respect for the office he holds, Mr. Sullenberger, 69, said on Twitter.

Washington Times was conservative back in the nineties. Now they are fifth column. I’m not listening to Charlie or Scully, or Sully or whatever this idiot’s name is. I’m done with their agitprop.

You are obviously an arrogant, petty, and insanely JEALOUS blowhard.
Youre no hero. Youre just another nasty self-important leftist.

Lost all respect for Mr. Sully.
That seems to be a recurring sentiment I have for many people around the nation and the world that I once respected.

Smart enough to land an airliner on water, and question the conclusions of the NTSB, but too stupid to question the media on an article with unverified sources?

I have great respect for the guy, but frankly, after watching an episode of American Pickers, I got a different outlook.
The AP guys met up way out west with a man with airplane stuff, at a small airport, etc. This man was the CO-PILOT of that Hudson flight. Yet, he gets no press. Something just bothers me about it.

Actually he is just an average pilot. Landing on flat water does not require any special skills beyond what's taught in basic pilot training. (Choppy seas are a completely different scenario where a plane has a high likelihood of breaking up on contact. Not so on flat water. Risk is only marginally higher than landing on a runway). But now that the media has turned him into a celeb for their own ratings and he's had a movie made about him, this idiot thinks he's on par with Hollywood celebs and his opinion matters. It doesn't.

Well Mr. Sully. When you can show me an ACTUAL witness I’ll start to believe it. Until then it is just the current Democrat lie.
Grow up and use your brain for a change!
