Have you ever had the opportunity to save the life of someone who saved yours?
Jocelynn James, a recovered drug addict and former member of "Alabama's Most Wanted," did when she found out the officer who put her in jail years ago was in need of a life-saving transplant.
Watch the emotional story of James and Officer Terrell Potter in the video above.
What a FABULOUS story!! GOD BLESS THEM!!
There’s something wrong with my computer screen now. It’s all blurry. Thanks for sharing this wonderful and uplifting God story.
Ditto
This moving story will move you to tears. It’s a testament of how God works.
In a Libertarian world she would have been allowed to continue drugs without legal intervention.
Reminds me a little bit of the RNC story of the guy thrown in jail and he prayed “God get me out of this and I’ll serve you.” IIRC his sentence could have been 50 years.
The judge got up and said something like “I have no idea what is compelling me to do this - but I sentence you to 5 years.”
Once he got out he now is helping out inmates. With a half-way house?? And the guy that works with him is the cop that arrested him!
My sister was saved in prison. What we thought was a terrible thing that she had to go through (she deserved it) - God turned it into the best thing. God works in mysterious ways!
...and this should be on NATIONAL NEWS !
This is what the US is all about !
God & Life !
Bless them both - and from the story - that’s exactly what happened.
Much better than this lowlife piece of pond scum Andrew Golden who goes around videotaping cops trying to get them fired and succeeds thanks to balless rats..
He was one of the last "beat cops" who didn't mind walking a patrol, and he knew all the merchants, professors, clergy etc. When we were kids it was annoying because we couldn't go shopping, to the county fair, etc. without him being stopped every 10 yards or so by people that wanted to talk to him. When he retired, the local paper had a front page story about his 30 year career and service to the community.
For weeks afterward, the paper received numerous letters about my dad, and I was surprised at more than a few from people he had arrested who were grateful for the experience having redirected their lives.
Good News...thanks for the post
God is so good.
The world would be a much better place if our corrupt media would pay more attention to stories like this.
“...and this should be on NATIONAL NEWS !”
If we could get this story to Trump...
