Two years ago, a detective in North Carolina gained access to a chat group on the messenger app Kik where strangers were exchanging child pornography, according to court filings. The discovery and subsequent investigation reportedly saved eight children from sexually abusive situations.
Now the first person police brought down in the investigation has been sentenced to prison.

“Many of the offenders had taken significant steps to mask their identities,” prosecutors said in Wednesday’s news release. “The investigative team engaged these offenders online and tricked them into revealing personal identifying information.”
At least 38 leads were sent to other law enforcement agencies across the country, which led to the arrests of 23 people and the rescue of eight children, prosecutors said.
One of the accused offenders was a man in Ohio who had reportedly been sexually abusing his 14-year-old daughter for 10 years, according to the news release.
Another accused offender was arrested on an oil rig in the North Sea, a body of water between the UK and Norway. His 5-year-old daughter was also rescued, prosecutors said.

Tip of the iceberg, sadly. But I’ll take it. The problem is they get released to re-offend over and over instead of being put down like the dirty dogs they are. Those people can’t be fixed.

Once a woman visited a church group I was in, and she cried as she told us her story: Years before, she was married to a man who grew distant from her, and she began to suspect he was “gay.” She never suspected he was a child molester. Turned out, he was sexually abusing their little girl. Of course, he went to prison and they divorced. Just hope the sick pervert is dead or, at the very least, still behind bars.
Kids today don't marry like we older folks did and want them to .... we're told it's not the way "we" think these days.
Therein lies the problem.
Thinking is a mental exercise and apparently our children were never conditioned nor taught the value of marriage and commitment.
Without marriage and the legal bond of it, a couple is never induced to really fight for something bigger than themselves, thus, it is all me me me.
I'm 72, married twice (1st 21 yrs/cancer - 2nd now on our 11th yr.) ... and I will confess to problems that, if I was of a looser mind set, I'd'a left and gone to another.
I have always married a born again girl as I am born again and THAT has been the basic glue that keeps us BOTH sane and forgiving to one another, thus; Marriage is for us eternal and an unbreakable bond (I've left the kids out of this confession)
.... and the magic that draws all of us hetero's together is the joy of sex as God designed us.
We have an appreciation for each other's inner spirit and growth as human beings and do not have ANY thoughts that we are animals doing animal things ... just for sex.
Every twisted thing sexual can be enjoyed in a hetero relationship of the same age ..... (that was a hard one to write)
So ..... how can this happen ?
Our kids were given free rein over their lives and they were not given ANY tools in order to make wise decisions nor fix the unwise ones ... it really is that simple.
Up until the 1950's, America was a hard working, church attending ( even the heathen referred to it as "the good book" ) population of relatively nationalistic mindset ... God, country and apple pie.
But apparently, we allowed modernity to interfere.

I agree with everything you’ve said. However, many girls were molested and raped by their fathers during the 1950s and prior. Of course that won’t get better without God, but it was always happening socially.
From what I hear...prisoners enjoy killing the child molesters.
In the early 21st Century, NAMBLA (a group of diseased, demented pedophiles) petitioned the Kommifornia state legislature to legalize pedophilia. I was living in that disaster of a state, and figured they'd get it someday, given the cluster of stupidity in their voters.
I just didn't figure it would be this soon. When it snowballs, it really snowballs.

You are mistaken in your belief system. You should also be speaking with your pastor or priest, who, if he is a Believer of Christ, will tell you the issues with your thinking.
For now, l would put forth at least one major sexual act that is not acceptable even within a “hetero relationship,” as you put it...
If a husband or wife wants to engage in sexual acts regarding the previous partners of the other spouse or even of people they know, he or she is very much sinning.
Two reasons: First, he or she would be causing the other spouse to partake of describing sexual acts/feelings/memories of other partners and this is very much straying from the Biblical instructions of not placing others in the harmful acts of going against God’s instructions. If a man or woman cannot have sexual gratification without the need to bring up sexual acts (even the mention of memories) that person should abstain from sexual acts altogether, until he or she can partake in sexual acts with his or her mate.
Second, and having a mate bring up their past relationships or indulging in the make-believe of having sexual acts with someone is causing their body/spirit/soul to partake in a ‘wanting’ of sex outside of their marriage. This is very much against the biblical instructions of the Lord God, who admonishes us to value our mates and that even to have lust in the heart (of someone not our mate) is sinful.
I hope I am explaining it correctly.
Please, refrain if at all possible in assigning all sexual acts as permissible withing the marriage bed. Its an extremely slippery slope upon which you are speaking. This is why we have to guard our hearts/minds/souls so carefully.
Remember, as weak humans we often make things ‘okay,’ that are never okay. Our hearts/minds/souls often get sucker punched because of sin.
Please, accept this advice in the way it was meant to be given; with love and charity.
However, now since we are more civilized, we need to keep our kids safe. Child abusers need to be jailed and sterilized.

The human condition is sinful and as such comes up with many ways for humans to make excuses for the acts they do.
There are many sexual acts that are not acceptable in any condition.
Sexual fantasy games are often a starting point with the sexual molester. As such they tell themselves it’s all a ‘mind thing.’ Unfortunately, once evil is accepted into the heart it’s only a hop, skip, and jump to having to progress to actual sex acts in order to have sexual gratification.
That’s why we are told to be so careful with our minds.
Even Christians can fool themselves into thinking all sexual acts are okay as long as they are within the Marriage Bed.
I hope the explanation I just gave is given correctly.

Married people invent all KINDS of actual things to do without fear nor embarrassment because in Hebrews, 13:4 we read .....
