Shakira wrote her first poem when she was 4 years old, however, Einstein did not learn to speak until he was 4.Even if an IQ test above 130 does not reveal how successful a person will be, this is the case just for only 2.5% of the population. Among them, some are renowned artists who have not succeeded academically, but whove totally won on the stage or the catwalk.
Here at Bright Side, we love smart people who share their wit with the world, so we want to show you this VIP group of brilliant celebrities, regardless of whether theyve been to Harvard or not.
She wrote her first poem when she was 4 years old, and she recorded her first album when she was 13 years old. With a 140 IQ, instead of going to college, Shakira learned from life on tour after tour around the world. And this was not in vain, the singer knows how to speak 5 languages.
She was always an A student, and she even graduated from high school as the valedictorian.
She liked science, so she received a scholarship to study chemical engineering. But one fine day a camera caught sight of her, and the world lost a great engineer, but won a supermodel.

He studied at University College London, where he majored in Ancient World Studies and graduated with first-class honors in Greek and Latin. It was at college where Martin met his future Coldplay bandmates, so we can very well say that intelligence and study skills are what have allowed us to listen to their songs today.
At 14 years old, he wrote one of his earliest works, and he was already thinking about his next screenplay. He never went to college, but he didnt need it. His 160 IQ score probably helped him to win 2 Oscars.
She started to appear on television when she was 3 years old and she was only 12 when she got a role in Taxi Driver. At 18, she decided to take a break from her stellar acting career and become a full-time student at Yale, where she graduated magna cum laude. Hollywood was waiting for her regardless.
She wanted to earn her own money from a very young age, because her greatest wish was to help care for her sister with special needs. During high school, she studied hard while she worked at Wendys restaurant, and after her university studies, Master degree included, she worked hard as a headhunter, until it was her talent that was hunted.
He had an impeccable academic career and after finishing his Masters degree in English literature at Yale, he embarked on a PhD. By then, acting (and The X-Files) had crossed his path and he left everything to follow his passion.
The Academy-Award winning actress graduated from Boston University, knows how to play the piano and flute, and is fluent in Swedish. She has a 140 IQ score and is a public member of the Mensa Organization, a VIP club to which only 2% of the population can belong only those who have an IQ that is greater than 135.
Her intelligence did not go unnoticed by her teachers, so she entered the second grade when she was only 5 years old. Even more, she was only 15 years old when she was accepted, with a scholarship, to college. Her IQ is 154, which places her in the top 0.1% of the population in the world.

However, the fact that he did not finish his studies, did not prevent him from joining the Mensa Organization, a club for smart people that have an above-average IQ.

Before changing his career to acting, he studied engineering at Newcastle University, went on to Oxford University to do a Master of Science, and even embarked on a PhD.
Success doesnt come suddenly, not even for geniuses like Einstein with an estimated 160 IQ. When he graduated, he spent 2 difficult years looking for work as a teacher. Physics werent the most important thing in his life, and his great passion was music. Playing the piano and the violin helped him to think, and for him a life without playing music was inconceivable.
How do you think intelligence has helped these people to shine in their careers? Did some of their achievements surprise you? Who is the smartest person in the world to you? Wed love to hear your views in the comments.
I think James Woods is considered very smart too. He did his undergrad work at MIT.
What a weak premise for a comparison! Harvard? C’mon man!
Look at the dumbasses that have come out of that cesspool in the last 30 years, my dog could outsmart half of them.
Range from 140-152 over the years, but was always bored with school so I was an average student, but a MENSA member. I was a National Merit Scholar and got a 97% on the LSAT. Did very well on the SATs, but flunked out of college on my first try. Went back, graduated and had fairly successful life. The least educated in my family, but the one everyone calls when they need information or help with something. As the family saying goes, “Call Ric he’ll know.”
Don’t know if this is common with higher IQ’s, but I have found that I look at the world in a very different way than most of my friends and family. Always questioning, always learning, but never in a way that put letters behind my name. Grew up as a generalist in an age of specialists. Sometimes I look back and think what if, but at 69 it’s not as important to me as it used to be.
IQ is just a number.
??? Did I get cloned? Actually, I’m younger than you, but you’re REdangus, so I’m really confused.
IQ is just a number....that you take the time to brag about.

Most of these people clearly paid someone to take their IQ test. This article is a joke.
IQ scores are largely without meaningful or should I say “good” application.
I recall reading an article about the man with the highest recorded IQ score at the time. He spent 5 hours every day watching pornography. Then in his spare time, he was a porn actor himself. I don’t remember if he had any other job.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Proverbs 9:10
Like the rest here, Bri is a complete numbskull when it comes to politics.
Geena Davis is also very accomplished at Archery. She qualified for the USA Olympic team, gave up her spot for another person.
Kris Kristofferson is very bright...
Dolf Lungren has a degree in Chemistry ????
LMAO! Has the author seen Taxi Driver? It wasn't an intelligence test.
They can’t be too smart.
They’re all lefties.
I worked for 15 years with some very high IQ people in Silicon Valley. Some of them didn’t have the sense to pour urine out of a boot. Very few of the very high IQ ones were well adapted to life with other humans. Brilliant in one very narrow field of engineering or physics but challenged by things like driving. I found it fascinating and very interesting.
Yeah, Eva the greatest stretch. Though some of those estimated IQs just don’t ring true either.
I blow fellow Clemson fans minds when I mention that DL went to Clemson. Not sure how many classes he had there.
I read that Ashton Kutcher has an IQ of 160.
Tom Scholz (Boston)
The old SAT test (pre 94) would top out at about an estimated 168 IQ if you managed to scored 1600.
I agree Black Adder is a great show. It has been many, many years since Ive watched it and Im about due for a fresh look. Brian Blessed was fantastic, just as he was in I, Claudius.
