Perhaps people should spare their outrage for acts which are actually outrageous — such as shootings. Bar bets? Not so much.

Hahaha. Democrats bite themselves in the ass. They defund the police, order them to stand down, and create the very problem they complain of that someone else can make a few bucks on.

Officials have since expressed outrage over the gambling pool. …

If it's NYC officials who are outraged, how about instead, they become a little more outraged about the shootings. And better yet, why don't they start supporting the police and why don't they start prosecuting the criminals and why don't they bring back bail...etc?

So, some stupid betting creates more outrage amongst Lefties than thousands of elderly killed by the NY Governor in nursing homes.

“The State Liquor Authority said it was “not only sickening, but also appears illegal under the Alcoholic Beverage Control law,” under which gambling at businesses with liquor licenses is prohibited.

Suffolk Police are investigating, according to a spokesperson.”

That’s some great police work, right there.

They are upset at the betting pool and NOT the actual shootings tells you a lot about these people.

This is their sense of humor commenting on the ridiculousness of de blasio firing a great many experienced police

They know DeBlasio is actually acting to allow Innocent people to have no security. The betting is nothing. Especially in comparison.

Officials have since expressed outrage over the gambling pool.

Maybe they should be outraged at the violence and do something to stop THAT.

Patchogue, once an oyster farming business town, is a nice little place, or was in the ‘80’s, complete with the Saturday night ‘audience participation’ movies.(”Toast!”, and the toasted bread flies about).

To keep money flowing there should be sucker bets: "how many unarmed black men are killed by police in Chicago and New York" in a week...

(fewer than 12 unarmed black men were killed by police in 2019 IN THE WHOLE COUNTRY.)

Sucker bets puff up profits...

An extra option> How many black children under the age of 5 shot and how many killed in Chicago, New York, and both cities combined...
