I understood the 15 cent tickets to be a promotional ploy. It won’t stay that way for long.

Not in Grinchen Whitmer’s Department of Political Correction state. Our Cinemas will not operate again, if ever, without her gracious allowance.

Her 2022 campaign slogan will be “You May Not...”

My blood ran cold hearing her say that in March regarding leaving my own home. Orwell was a prophet.

True. I’m not even convinced it was true. I didn’t bother to investigate because there literally is nothing I’m interested in seeing. I love going to the movies, but from what I can see. There is literally nothing of interest at all.

Perhaps once or twice a year there’s a movie worth seeing. I LOVED Jojo Rabbit, a comedy about Hitler that most people didn’t understand because it’s satire. I saw it in the theatre and then four more times on DVD.

I also enjoyed Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, with a brilliant performance by Brad Pitt that gained him an Oscar. So he’s a liberal jerk. I forgive him just this once because he was brilliant in the movie. Saw it five times, once in the theatre, then four more times on DVD. My daughter, even more to the right than I am, loved it too. We saw it together twice.

i think everyone has one or two folks they get a pass on even though they are libtards

more and more though i cant forgive them because what i know about them taints their character, i cant get past it

they personally destroy my ability to enjoy the film

not really such a big deal since more and more of what comes out of hollyweird isn’t appealling to me at all

“I love going to the movies, but from what I can see. There is literally nothing of interest at all.”

Long before the China virus I hadn’t been in a movie theater in decades. There was maybe about one movie a year I might have some interest in - back then.

Now, it’s very rare when there’s something I wanna see and even then, it can be found online.
But I have quirky tastes in film, so that adds to it. I like a many foreign-language films, also, but most of those are likewise in the past. At any rate, the usual pop-movie fare/big hits has never been a personal big draw, other than some classics.

True. I decided to go see stupid rich Asian. I’m not sure if that’s the right title. Everyone raved about it so the sheep I am, I went. It was awful!!!!!! Nothing redeeming at all. Popular films can be a head scratcher.

“Popular films can be a head scratcher.”

Give ‘em at least 20 years. I just recently watched “Taxi Driver”.
