That’s true. They joined unions that have increased their pay and benefits, which good teachers deserve. But the unions also made it impossible to get rid of bad teachers and added all the socialist curriculums, and their ability to discipline students, and demand the students know the subject matter before they pass,....I could go on and on. It doesn’t do anything to help the students or the teachers.
I wish we could give teachers the tools they really need and treat them like professionals, in that they are paid well based on merit. The teachers need to pass knowledge of subjects tests before they are hired.
