Governor Sisolak
@GovSisolak
Early on in this crisis, when it came time to exhibit real leadership and make difficult decisions to protect the American people, he failed to develop a unified national response strategy.
To put it bluntly: he didnt have the guts to make tough choices — he left that to governors and the states. Now hes decided he doesnt have to respect our States laws. As usual, he doesnt believe the rules apply to him.
?..... maybe because we don’t live 7nder th CCP, and the President believes in federalism according to our constitution?
I had seriously cnosidered being an election judge this year, but after some reflection, I realized I dont ave enough money in the bank for the bail bond I would need!!
Thank you.
Cheered when read this. One down. How many more?
HARRISBURG, P.A. (AP) Federal judge rules that Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf’s pandemic restrictions are unconstitutional.
And many WILL conceal and carry. Thats the plan here.
BIDEN is giving his take on climate change.
QUESTION: Will he take questions afterward?
Our republican inspector during the primary had his cell tuned to truckers patrolling in the area. Those not driving were closer than LEO to polling places in case there was any trouble. Leo knew the plan and were ready to back up the civilians. Antifa came into our polling place. Immediately a few burly men came in back door searching for their voting precinct. Didnt take long for the soy people to vote and skedaddle!
“Should I send your opinion to the White House CB?”
That would be wonderful, I’m very thoughtful of you. You’re right, you’ve taking this one step further :-) we need to be as organized and orchestrated as the left is.
Carpooling to voting, maybe even borrowing a church van, we have to get the older people out as well that might be afraid to go on their own. Or anybody afraid to go on their own. Strength in numbers :-)
“No concealed carry is not always followed. I never paid any attention to it.”
LOL, you’re so feisty!
Amen
thank for the info. I was going to go to plastic surgeon in spring, but it was canceled because of CV, then the oncologist and today the ENT told me its major surgery with long recovery time, and most of the time it doesnt work. That’s why I didn’t reschedule it. But that was before my gums started hurting and I didn’t have gum pain.
The surgery i had did damage my nerves, and the plastic surgeon had told me it could do more damage and nerve damage takes years to heal. I had nerve damage from my neck surgery and it did get better, but it was in my arm; much easier to deal with and didn’t hurt to eat.
Later I’ll get on my cancer forum and see if anyone there has this problem. Those people are tough and have gone through so much, and I am a weasel.
“Don’t make us open this”
LOL!
It needs to be opened before the election. And in every state. NIKk’s right, we need to get organized now. I’m not sure how.
But I think I will text my preacher and tell him I will drive anybody to the poll that want it. If it looks dangerous I’ll bring my husband riding shotgun. Literally.
I think I’ll suggest that we use the church van if there are enough takers. And if he knows the other local preachers, he could suggest they do the same.
I know our Carter County Republican headquarters is open every car show. I think I will join hubby on the bike for this Saturday, and go by and ask if they have a plan for getting people to the polls. If they don’t, I’ll suggest the car pools, church vans, anyting. If they have a list of Voters maybe we should start calling them now, and organize what time they want to get to their polling place.
Trump won Carter county by over 80% in 2016. So that’s not really gonna helped the national effort. Maybe I should drive over to Virginia instead. Or North Carolina. Those formerly red States need to be turned around.
We have several days of early voting at designated locations (court house - senior center). All areas are near police patrol routes. More seniors are choosing to vote at these locations. Not nearly the crowds/lines and vote is guaranteed to count. Check with you county clerk to see what is available in your area. Only excuse needs to be your not going to be available Election Day.
This caught my eye in the article...
Better nutrition. Eating a diet that includes specific nutrients might help your nerve problems. For example, you might need more B vitamins, including B1, B12, and folic acid (folate). Or you might need more antioxidants. These are found in many fruits and vegetables.
Have worked the election desk for 30 years. Both as clerk and judge. There are other ways to help get the vote out. Seniors often need rides or may choose to vote early and need a ride then. Ask you local GOP chair person.
