I just don't feel comfortable voting by mail. What if the postal worker (who tends to be rabidly Democrat) "loses" my ballot along the way? Would I then be allowed to vote in person or will they have already scratched my name off the rolls (because they mailed my ballot)?

I will be showing up in person to vote.

I’m in Hennepin County, Minneapolistan, and yesterday I got two absentee ballot applications that were sent to Or Current Resident. They came from Common Sense Voters of America in Washington, DC.

I will be crawling through broken glass to vote in person.

I’ve received two addressed to my mother “or current resident”.
Mom passed ten years ago.

One can only assume they are mailing applications to ALL registered voters, both active and inactive. One can infer that the prior resident has not registered elsewhere in your state or county or that your jurisdiction is negligent in updating records.

Mrs. jimfree and I have received absentee applications that were to be sent to ALL voters. We have not received one for the prior owner who moved 34 years ago.

We received absentee ballots for a mayoral election but decided to vote in person. We were told to put our name and signature on a special list.

When filling the form out I mistakenly made a mark in the wrong box. My ballot was torn up and I had to sign a different list before getting another ballot.

I’m in Maryland.
I received the applications for my wife, myself and our four kids - only one of which is still living with us. We all vote in person. We all are voting Trump.

So far I only got an application for the NY State Primary, which was June 23rd. Cuomo had tried to get the primary cancelled, but a Judge told him it had to take place on the planned date. I called the County Clerk’s Office to make sure the polls would be open that day...they were, so I tore the application up. The primary was a big cluster*ck. It took weeks to find out who won in some elections, and there were at least 84,000 ballots that were disqualified. The primary opponent of Carolyn Maloney filed a lawsuit, and a Judge ordered all the disqualified ballots be counted. I think that decision is being appealed, and that issue is still up in the air.

Everyone should save them and NOT throw them away. There’s no telling what might happen next. They may come in handy.

The good news is that the former tenant won’t get one.

Another anecdote: My ex-wife received one for her Mom who died in late 2013. Trashed it.

Judging by your SN, I’ll say you are in VA.?

Seeing as how you’re that close to DeeCee, and your Gov. Is Dem/Communist, I can see them sending them out to anyone and everyone.

Thus far here in Indy, we’ve not seen any such mailings.

I’m voting in person, anyhow.

I understand that some states (Oregon, Utah, . . . ?) have only mail-in voting now.

I guess that means you can't vote in person.

Could someone from one of those states enlighten us?
