I wouldn’t be so sure about that. Since Kyle is basing his case on a self-defense claim, the criminal backgrounds of his targets would seem to be absolutely relevant to the case. Establishing a pattern of violent behavior on their part would be essential to his defense.
Yes, but Rosenbaum is not under trial, Rittenhouse is. The convictions are germain to Rittenhouse defense.
There are also a LOT of school teachers and lawyers among the arrested.
It would be interesting to analyze the records of everybody arrested nationwide the past three months as well as their home state.
Sure. I saw the guy yelling “Shoot me, n*gga!” on the live stream. I wasn’t sorry when I learned he was later shot, either. But, dirtbag, or Eagle Scout, his actions warranted a self-defense shooting. That’s all that matters in the courtroom, at this point.

Obviously, a man of principle who was at the riot only because of his moral commitments.
No one will miss him; no one will riot over him or the genius who thought his skateboard was both a club and a bullet proof club. The media will not celebrate them because their skin is the wrong color. They were all just out looking for thrills and looting opportunities. They were not “protesting” anything.
Shouldn’t be. None of his past was known to Kyle Rittenhouse. And none of it mattered. He feared for his life, he stopped the threat. Self defense.
At that point the defense attorney would say: “Were you aware that your fellow rioter Shorty Rosenbaum was also a convicted criminal who spent a decade in prison in Arizona, and was a registered sex offender?”
Even if the prosecution objects and the judge orders the jury to ignore the question, it would be a devastating line of questioning.
Supposedly Rittenhouse only 5’4” himself.

The other deceased individual, Anthony Huber, supposedly had a criminal record as well.I think he was reaching for Kyle’s gun. Made mistake of bringing a skateboard
to a gunfight.
“While I believe everyone can make a mistake, Second violation, gas chamber unless the mistake was a capital crime. In that case, don’t wait for the second.”
That would certainly free up a lot of jail space and keep us all much safer. In fact, we’d probably never have to build another prison*!
*Unfortunately, prisons are Billion Dollar Enterprises in Wisconsin. Our Super Max Prisons are second to none. All of the other states send their trash to us for safekeeping. ;)

After reading the statement by his attorney’s and assuming it to be true I cannot envision this ever going to trial.
By Floyd standards he is up for sainthood.
